Back in the early 80s I purchased the FP-101 kit, 2 and a half years later had it in the air. Put the Rotax 440 with a 2-1 reduction on the prop, opted the clipped 29’ wing, very short takeoff roll with power to spare in the air. It was corvette orange. Your 202 looks good 👍
Mine had a Rotax 277 about 28hp. Most of them were capable of hauling a 230 to 250 lb pilot. The specs should be online but most airplanes can fly higher than 10k ft.
yes, part 103 ....not sure on the glide ratio but I have done simulated engine outs and it glides very well. mine seems like it would easily be doing 10:1
WOW! Really Jealous right now. He has a 'Pull Start and, He can get into and out of' his 202 so much easier than I can mine. Whats Nest? He'll install brakes? LOL

It jumps right off the ground and climbs very well
That was just Beautiful and the music was appropriate for you,
The super hero ! 😎. Lol.
Good video, felt like I was watching Star Wars though. LOL love the background music.
Love your little cub but really... the Rocketeer theme???
What’s the engine on it ? And what are the limitations as far as elevation range weight limit and temperature? Cool plane tho it’s perfect
Also what’s the take off speed and the stall speed ?

Wondering if the mini cub falls in the 103 section?
Yes, mine was less than 254lbs.
I thought you might need a longer run way. hee hee
yea 6k ft. runway was cutting it kinda close😀
how much do these planes cost?
Game Of Play in the used market $3500 to $5000 depending on condition and engine hours.
Thanks Paul Gyroman
What is the gliding performance of one of these if you have an engine failure? I’m assuming this isn’t part 103?

paul gyroman the fisher site says 9:1 so there ya go
Love this little plane but not for the price.would have like to have seen different angles of flight.Nice flight.
