Hey man does the sp 43 in the strat have a big volume jump when mix it with stock pups ? Or even something with comparable output in the middle and neck mixed with the sp43 in the bridge ?? I have an 80’s strat I love and the stock pups are great but the bridge is a little shrill. I have a fralin sp43 bridge pup but am afraid of the vol Jump… what’s your experience with it ? Sorry to be so so long winded brother and thanks for your time.
@@bigtsshackfestival9563 there is no volume jump. i have stock output pups in the neck and middle, and the sp43 in the bridge is a perfect match. i have that in all my strats and teles.
The blue guitar sounds bright in this demo. Do you use any tone control for the bridge pickup? BTW, I couldn't really hear what you were saying in this video.
I have your vintage hot set. The bridge PU is connected to the normal strat tone circuit, and I don't think its too bright. The bridge pickup is very versatile and works well with gain. I'm happy with it. Thankyou.
Cool new videos from Lindy!beautiful tone.
The sunburst Strat has the Steel Pole (SP) pickups. Not clear if they are the SP42 or SP43.
These are the SP 42 set
LOVE the SP42's, especially in the bridge. You don't see them much, they really ought to be more popular.
i have an sp 43 bridge in all my teles and strats.

@@bigtsshackfestival9563 Nothing a pickup height adjustment wouldnt solve... unless it really is that much of an output difference
@rohadtanyad8908 what's the difference in 42 and 43 in bridge of strat? I have 43 in neck of my tele and love it

Yes I do but in this video all the pot are on 10. The Vintage Hots are brighter than the SP 42s.
