This doctor can’t discern between unhealthy and an emergency. I guess my smoking two packs of cigarettes a day in my 20s wasn’t unhealthy because I never had a cigarette-related emergency.

Good point. I don’t like when people say it’s ok to be (something negative like fat, lazy, unhealthy in other ways,…) it’s not cause everything you do affects people in some kind of way. That’s why especially young people are so depressed and can’t find meaning in life. If every bad thing you do does not matter then why would good things? And if you can’t make others life better than you either become selfish or depressed cause then what’s the point if everything is meaningless?

Its OK (from a moral perspective) to be overweight, do bodybuilding, smoke, skydiving, riding motorcycles, driving nascar, owning a firearm. All of these things are statistically associated with a shortened life expectancy. Separate being OK and being healthy. You should be able to choose to smoke or be fat, and it is OK in the US of A to do any of these.
As a doctor I am not your parent or priest. If you choose you want to do something about what shortens your life expectancy then I am happy to help, but I won't judge you if you choose to continue.
At 13:40 he actually says the same thing as the doctor did, but pissed and moaned about it for 16min.
By the way, the kit that you are selling at the end (amoxicillin, Ivermectin and anttivirals etc) do not help with cold and 'flu.

Dude if your slightly overweight your better off feeling good about yourself than hating yourself over it. Trust me mental health is more important than 20-30 pounds. Being underweight is much scarier, your heart and brain need cholesterol to function properly. Being in shape active and happy is more important than BMI. Also if your happier and make better choices your body will respond in kind. If you’re obese and not eating well and not exercising at all, yes that’s dangerous.

She knows as a physician she won’t be touching the patient except to examine. She orders the meds so she’s off the hook. It takes a lift team to maneuver the patient, that causes injuries to the nurses. Patients have to sit in their own feces until the team or equipment is free to clean up the miserable patient that put everyone involved with the morbidly obese patient at risk. Weeeeell, my father smokes since he is 15, he is now 75, has no problems. Smoking is like picking negative lottery tickets, the probability is higher that you get cancer, it's not for sure and it is not clear how many tickets you have to buy to get it. And of course you can get lung cancer and never smoke a single cigarette. Loooots of other negative effects of food stuff nobody talks about either.
PS: some people get lung cancer while just smoking a couple of years, the probability is of course far higher when you smoke as when you don't. I am not saying smoking is good, I wrote it just for a common sense balanced view.

Have been carnivore for about 10 months and have eliminated a few things along with 20 lb less fat (almost back to "normal")..... Been tackling two physial things lately, so for the first time, need to get x-rays, MRI, etc.... In the past couple of months, have visited several medical facilities (new record).... It completely blows me away that nearly 100% of staff (not docs or most nurses) are morbidly obese...... I had problems that i don't have anymore and everyone i know that's been fat and lost weight has had the same experience. When you're young, it's not noticable, but over time, 99.9% of people who are obese will have issues related to it. It's supposed to be about loving yourself and making peace with your body about the things you can't control like your age, height, body type or imperfections you were born with. Now, it's used as an excuse to let yourself go and not just in weight. I've seen too many people use body positivity as an excuse to be slobs and it's not healthy physically or mentally. First off I’m freaking FAT, and it blows, I’m laying here right now because of another knee surgery which stems from guess what? From being fat. I’ve ALWAYS worked my ass off and being fat it has been catching up with me the last 10 years. I’ve destroyed both knees, so my point is that it is not ok to be fat. It absolutely blows and that’s a fact. It has just about ruined my favorite hobby which is riding motorcycles. Sport bikes in particular which require a really good range of motion in my knees. I’m so close to losing my ability to bend my right knee far enough to get it on the foot peg. If I get to that point I’d just rather them remove from the knee down so I can still ride. Without being able to ride my motorcycle I see no reason to exist. So losing weight is a must for me. Everything is wrong with being fat.

Leaving in America ten years now. Went to visit my original country in eastern Europe last October the first time. We were shocked how beautiful are people there, no obese people at all. And it's not really popular and common to use the gym. Food is not as GMO, engineered and synthetic as in America. It's much more organic food and the taste ir so much different. Also people just walk more naturally . When they say that the obesity is running in your genes, l want to say this - take a trip to Eastern European counties to a wake up. Apparently we're a completely different species there. Can't wait to come back for a permanent living. Thank you so much to America for showing us the true ........

It's not some Eastern Europe miracle. I'm Canadian. In living, working and going to school in the USA for 8 yrs gained me 100lbs. I returned to Canada and it immediately began reversing slowly because going both directions I didn't do much different except what's in the food, and the cheap availability in the USA of fast food making it a ready option in a busy schedule.

Um honey maybe you synthetic food but I don’t. And GMO non GMO has zero science to obesity. Must be that East European evil eye talking to you. Since US has more food. More choice. More healthy options instead of your 5 vegetables in total. All those starchy carbs and non meat sausages in Eastern Europe really clogged your thinking.

I lost 40kgs, at a slow but steady pace of 1kgs a month (roughly over a 3 year period).
This is the best thing I’ve done to myself.
The health is perfect: no more sleep apnea nor acid refluxes, I can wear what I want, the mood is better, self esteem is back etc etc…
There is absolutely no negative point to lose weight.
    I strongly recommend it.

I've watched people coming to my work. I work in an automatic fracturing I watch people work there and end up having to get hurt, and I can see why they're obese. They can't move around there's no mobility, so they twist themselves wrong, they hurt themselves. One of the things that I noticed that the medical staff in there doesn't do is tell people that they need to get on a diet plan and you lose weight instead, they run them through all this rehab. How is rehab gonna work when there's too much weight on the joints? There's too much weight on a person. That's 51 300 pounds on their ankles. How in the world is it okay how in the world is that healthy

Thigh chafing was always painful and my body ached and I was out of breath all the time. I have been focused on living healthier and have lost a ton of weight and have toned up nicely. I still need to work on myself, but I have become physically and mentally stronger and healthier.

A doctor is definitely one person who has the authority to judge our health. No different than a teacher judging our spelling. We can't be offended when they call us out for doing something wrong. They are paid to "judge" us, correct us and instruct us. The word judge is thrown around so loosely now that people don't even understand the real definition of it anymore.

Once patients become customers by employing a privitised system, that is no longer true. The doctor as a parent then becomes an outdated concept. There are google reviews on doctors, those with low feedback because of sound advice that people dont want to hear, affects the standing of the doctor.

On the TV show Fit-To-Fat-To-Fit, the fitness trainer set a goal of gaining 30 lbs in like 6 months, so he can show how it's possible to lose weight when you're obese. Unfortunately he was not able to meet that goal because he gained serious health issues from all the unhealthy eating he was doing. He had to be put on medication and told to stop immediately the unhealthy eating. He lost the weight and no longer needed the medication.

Obesity is a symptom of an epidemic we have in America. Somehow loving yourself has become a bad thing. The most selfish people in the world do not love themselves. Selfish, why? If you don't love yourself you will demand others do it for you. AND, when you don't love yourself you made horrid decisions in life, like not caring for your diet, health, fitness. IF you can't love yourself, you have absolutely zero capabilities to love someone else. Love & Truth. A Pure LIfestyle. Love yourself and it will lead you to genuine love for others. Don't love yourself, hate yourself, and it will lead you to hating others.

I'm in my mid 50s, and about 14% body fat, no pain, excellent blood pressure, etc., and was getting bored with being healthy, kind if feeling like I always stand out in the crowd of average Americans, and now I can feel good about moving forward in a pursuit to blend in, and maybe throw on a few extra pounds, like around a hundred. Btw, does anyone have a KFC or Chick-fil-A locations map?

One year ago, at 72 I weighed 248.7 lbs. I couldn't walk a few yards without getting out of breath. My blood pressure was 140/90 at rest and I was very uncomfortable. In January of 2023 I began a high protein and high fiber, low fat low carb diet. In one year, I lost 75 lbs. I now weigh 173. I was a Woman's size 24 and now I am a Misses size 14. My blood pressure is 100/69 and I happily enjoy long walks around my neighborhood. The good news is that it didn't take that long before I began it feel markedly better. Small steps still yield great befits. My advice is to listen to your body and trust the "REAL" science. Not the woke trends.

Sadly I've been finding nothing but doctors like this via the UCLA outpatient offices that have been popping up everywhere here in Southern Commucalifornia! And it takes months to get an appointment as all the "good" doctors are retiring or moving to one of the free states.. What makes it frustrating is that I've grown-up with medical parents and myself worked in the medical profession my entire life so I can typically see when the doctor is lacking massive knowledge that could actually hurt people more than helping! Everyone should do yourself a favor and always get the results of every test, then check the internet and take notes of the things to ask your doctor about, this saved my life a few times!
