This is my favorite watercolor video so far of the many videos I’ve watched of many presenters. I have a heavy handed-ness habit and maybe this will help correct that. Love this video of all!
I'm new to your channel, just subscribed yesterday! I'm loving your videos! I'm very new to watercolors and I'm ashamed to say I haven't practiced much but I will now. I absolutely love butterflies and I love your monarch! It's stunning!! I saved a couple of your practice videos so that I can go back and practice those techniques. Thank you for sharing your talent with us! ❤❤
Recovering from Covid and binge watching your videos. Somehow, I missed this one last year. LOVE it! We share many favorite things. Thanks for all you do, Emma. You are a blessing to so many!
What would I do without your tutorials. I'm just popping up to my village to buy a bunch flowers cause I'm do the same as you. Monet said " I must have flowers, flowers, flowers always". So I'm coming back to this video in a bit. Thanks Emma, I've learnt so much from you watching your tutorials. Clever lass you are. Yvonne x Just got back and got a wonderful bunch of gorgeous smelling stock, white, - so I doubt I'll attempt to paint them ;-)
Emma, I love your paintings and I love tulips too. During tulip season, I buy them every week and to keep them lasting almost a week, I put a penny in the vase water. You'll be amazed at how long they last. Mine are still standing up straight after six days! Thanks for a great video!
@@nyxspiritsong5557 shop about for better quality paper, because it really can range in price, I'm in Spain and Amazon wanted 19 euros for a 9x12 pad, but I found the same one in an art shop for just over 10 euros. And I've cut a few pages in half.
I love watching you and one other artist in particular. Your style combined with hers is where I kinda live. I'm often playing catch-up watching. I Almost Never catch live streams. I just want you to know, I appreciate the time you dedicate to sharing your style and tips and tricks.
You are my favorite watercolor teacher in you tube, Thank you. Leonor....My English isnˋt good....but the videos are fabulous, and subtítulos help me so much, Thank you so much. Leonor
What a JOY to find you! Your talent is amazing. You are a wonderful teacher as well. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching you! I see so many of your ways to approach painting as common sense and add in artistic flair. I’ll need to start with the common sense part I see you do and hopefully the artistic flair will come in time. You give me HOPE. I know I will never reach your level, but I think I can improve where I am now. THANK YOU for your tutorials!! 🌸🌸🌸
This is one of your best yet! I've painted 4 so far! Just finished the watering can! My boots were a bit off - but at least you can tell they're still boots! And I managed to sketch everything by hand. I'm pretty happy with that!
I love this art work you have done today. You have done agreat job an i needed this today❤i love all my art supplies i have an Iam waiting for the rest to come soon hope soon.🎉
You probably have already done a video on this... but how/were do you learn to put the shadows in etc... you are the best for showing off where to put the dimensions/shadow in your paintings that they pop off the page/ look real...... Your boots, tulips, bunny are my favourites but they just look so simple but real and I have you seen you do all on both Arches and cheaper less gsm/no cotton type papers... Help Emma.... if I can aspire to be 1% as good as you, I am on the right path... There are so many artists that insist you have to have expensive paints like Daniel Smith, Holbein etc to give colour and dimensions to a painting... you manage it with Windsor and Newton paints which I have.... there are so many artists that say buy cheap paper, cheap paint and then if you like watercolour painting you then go on to buy better paper and paint... I believe that you can as I did get disappointed with all my painting using cheaper products. So I invested in a decent but cheap paper/ pad for practice... using better paper after I have got my practice painting it as good as I know I can... I bought decent brushes as in Da Vinci brushes... I can’t get Princeton without paying through the nose, the brushes you currently use are out of stock... so I will have to wait for those....my 100% cotton paper are from a choice of Saunders, Canson Heritage, Langton, prestige and Fabriano Artistico...so I am trying to make sure I have the right products as I love watercolour painting more than I thought I ever would given that I can’t draw!! It chills me in times of high pain/ depression..... but frustrates me with regards to shadow adding dimension etc.... Sorry about the essay, but I wanted you to know how much I appreciate painters like yourself that take time to share your expertise with beginners like myself.....🥰
The best things to come out of Canada are Emma Jane Lefebvre , the Mounties and Murdoch Mysteries. I hope you are going on OK with baby Miles n Noah xx
Hi Emma. Love your videos. I get the most out of these if I can see how much water you are using. If it is out of view, it’s difficult to recreate Thank you
I have learnt so much from you and you paint all my favourite things. I have a question maybe you or someone else can answer please. I’m a complete beginner and have bought Daler and Rowney synthetic brushes and 300gsm paper. It seems to dry far quicker than yours so I wondered so the synthetic brushes not hold the water or is it that I need to buy something like the arches paper? Maybe it’s a combination? Thank you so much for your tutorials you’ve revived my love of art which has been dormant for a very long time 😂
I’m a potter who has taken up painting to improve my surface decorating skills. Love your flowers and birds, and this is definitely something I can work on when I’m not at my pottery studio. However I has moved my studio out of my house because my cat was drinking my throwing water, should I be as equally concerned when using the colors containing cadmium? (I already keep the cobalt away from her and pretty much avoid any manganese)
Loved this, what was the 4 brush you wound up using? It is helpful to see what each size/number brush does. About how tall was the finished size of each cutie? Thanks oops one more question, what pencil are you using? Thanks again
Have you tried the Silver Brush Black Velvet water color brushes? I just wonder which is better for watercoloring? I want to purchase a small set to start watercoloring.
Do you like the Craftamo brushes better than the Princeton Snap brushes? I bought some based on your videos and now I see you using these other ones. Did you get them here in Canada?
Love your tutorials, not just for painting but also for drawing, learned alot from watching you. Thank you
This is my favorite watercolor video so far of the many videos I’ve watched of many presenters. I have a heavy handed-ness habit and maybe this will help correct that. Love this video of all!
I like the robin and the rabbit.Very life like.

I love these cutesie things so much!!!🌼🌿 Spring is so fun.
Great video Emma. I have just got my Arches paper, and you are right, what a difference it makes to your art work. Thanks
Thanks for your comment. Been debating on getting some higher quality paper. Think I'll get some now

I’m debating the same thing and being a beginner am reluctant to spend the money 😂
Thank you Emma, these are great. You make it look East.
Love these small spring paintings. Thank you. Love waking up and getting inspired by your video's in the morning :-)
