I feel it is just a toy ..you got to pretty much be touching an object for it to locate it. I would use a Gp one over this one for the price. Other wise the Garret Pro pointer is great and the Xp Pinpointer is to be one of the Best on the Market.
I have a New GP pinpointer too. But the Carrot is going to be still used a lot . I picked this up cause it was a freebie and well we all know it might not be all the best but hey it is rechargeable. We will see how it works in the ground conditions. Thanks Lovely . Stay Awesome.. Peace

Cant see screen in daylight, small buttons with gloves, the sound is very weak, used it for 5 mins, got out my older sunpow with orange cap is alot better

I think it's a typical Chinese knock-off, Dan. It might work in a pinch (I used a GP Pointer for the first 3 years I detected), but I LOVE my carrot!❤
