I brought your list to my local bandai card fest, went 6-2 losing only to a mirror match and bricked against shanks! Thank you for the rpluffy introduction!
can't wait for the RP Luffy Gameplay video. This Deck is so much fun! Since OP09 in Western, i play Shanks and i found myself to the Joy of RP Luffy finaly, after it wasn't realy good into the Sets before. Before i played since the release of st-13 almost only BY - Luffy which i performed and learned really well of it. Its also realy enjoying to play RP-Luffy, because of its Gameplan selfs. No Headaches anymore if it goes to like 10-12 games in a row :D
great video once again, can't wait also to see your inputs all around on op-10 on what's next with eb-02, love your opinions, and made me improve a lot!
Great video! I quite like beckmann as a 7 don play, also doesn’t minus you a don and can clear some pretty nice targets like cavendish and sangoro before he gets a draw.
At 13:04 you stated that the Killer would have blocked and given 1 card. If I am playing Bonney correctly, isn't it only when there's 3 characters thats on Law's field in which he can do the draw portion of Killer's effect?
Fun video all around, seeing your love for the deck and creative editing! I remember being introduced to the Gamma Knife tech when you pinned a 10-1 list on your "Japan's First OP09 Championship" video. The builder seemed to focus on its synergy with 9c Whitebeard's When Attacking effect. Is Gamma Knife still worth it with 9beard out for Shanks? Maybe helps Divine Departure hit literally anything and/or works with that 6c Brook? I'm also curious how the 6c Brook plays, considering the debuff is only for your turn - is it ok to split focus between the original "go face while building defenses" strategy (I may wrong to assume this is the usual strategy just from your Shanks matchup discussion) and clearing board?
this is my fav leader so far, thank you for posting such detailed analysis. do you think Brook replaces 7Kidd for the consistent Don return? The point you made about being able to have a Don up for GGG after dropping 10 Shanks is i think the determining point in a lot of R/P Luffy matches. Would love to hear more on that.
That ninja roll took your watch off! Does that make it a roll ex-watch? Thanks for covering RP luffy. I am looking to use him in upcoming nats. I like how versatile he can be! Thanks for the content 🫶
Loved the vlog style video, please do more of these! ❤ Also whats your opinion on G/Y Law? Its the deck im looking forward to the most in op10, hopefully you'll release a video on it.
@ikailakai Have you considered printing out proxys for videos? That way you can cover every deck that seems interesting to you, without spending too much money
Brook having counter and being searchable was really big for me. It's also good when going first like in the Purple Luffy game. But I do experiment with my lists even in tournaments, so this may not be in my final list
Hey love your videos man! One question, I picked up Boa as a deck but I am struggling vs shanks do you have any tips for me as I noticed you said Boa is good into Shanks but I cannot figure it out.
I'm actually not too sure now. I recorded this like a month ago. 1cost Law and low cost blockers in general placed at good timings help with the matchup though. But failing to deal with 10 cost Shanks is how you lose, so it's a "how many can he draw vs how many Red Roc can i draw" game
I prefer my RP Luffy with 9c Newgates, 7c Kid and more ramp. You're list is very aggressive, but I think the Brook would be better in a more controlly list (great combo with 8c Rayleigh).
Brook is just decent in general as it let's me play both styles. Could be very nice with Rayleigh though I'll consider it. Only issue is activation timing.
@ikailakai There are definatly pros and cons to Kid and Brook, Brook is searchable and 1k counter, but also easier to remove and Kid can save you cards in hand and makes swings very awkward for the opponent.
I started with RP Luffy and gave up on it. Thanks to you I'm going to pick it back up. Do you think swapping out Sanji with the op10 Choppa blocker will make the overall deck more sustainable?
Rp luffy feels like it just has too many matchups that are auto loses. Bummer to hear ussopp has bad matchups into two powerful decks, i was hoping to play him. Maybe ill just have to stick with betty
1:10 that was all that Brazilian Ju Jitsu training LOL love it
It's all coming together now
Yesssssss RP Luffy content !!!
Honestly so glad both RP Luffy and GP Lim are receiving love in a video, hopefully we see more of they
I brought your list to my local bandai card fest, went 6-2 losing only to a mirror match and bricked against shanks! Thank you for the rpluffy introduction!
im loving this type of content. keep it up!

Great video. Thank you for sharing your experience with us, also will look forward to more RPLuffy Content
RP Luffy Gang! I like the live clips in between rounds, such a good idea. My notes would be so much better during
great video once again, can't wait also to see your inputs all around on op-10 on what's next with eb-02, love your opinions, and made me improve a lot!
Top notch video as always. Also love the tournament Vlog style! I'd love to see more of these, even for locals.
gg amazing, love RP luffy

I loved this vlog style of video, its awesome

I put 09 Brook as a 2-of in my list a month back and think it’s been great. So good for fighting for board in the Doffy Matchup
Fun video all around, seeing your love for the deck and creative editing!

iKailaKai rolls into action! 1:06
I'm glad you appreciate the roll. I don't know why I decided to do that but it was my first take and I landed perfectly in frame so I had to keep it.
Love this kind of content keep it up!
RP Luffy content love it, ty for all the work and the time.
this is my fav leader so far, thank you for posting such detailed analysis.

Super informative bro keep it up

Awesome video!!
Amazing video
Love the blog style of the videos
I would love to see how you play the deck properly as I am always struggling to either survive or even end games properly.
Yes, please create a gameplay video of RP Luffy!
can you make a full deck breakdown I really like the design of the list
LOVE THE ACTION SHOT
GG for the top 8, and I'm interested for a Lim video or if your friend can share his thoughts with the deck now
For OP09 format do you still recommend running kid and newgate build, or is there merit to run an ultra rush focus build like this one?
Loved the vlog style video, please do more of these! ❤
Also whats your opinion on G/Y Law? Its the deck im looking forward to the most in op10, hopefully you'll release a video on it.
GY law is very fun at the very least but he seems solid. I would like to put out a video on it if I can, but the secret rare is cripplingly expensive
@ikailakai Have you considered printing out proxys for videos? That way you can cover every deck that seems interesting to you, without spending too much money
6:12
you mention you realize how your opponent didnt have much counter in his hand. how do you determine this?
When they either use 2 2ks to block a 2k attack or they use 3 1ks to block a 2k
Cant wait for st21 to come out in english, im going to try and push it at locals :D
I see the potential between 6c brook and shanks but for me the combo kid c7 shanks is too good. Gj getting a top 🙌
Brook having counter and being searchable was really big for me. It's also good when going first like in the Purple Luffy game. But I do experiment with my lists even in tournaments, so this may not be in my final list
Need your teammates Lim deck list
In mexico we do find fully completed decks just not at the LGSs
Was this the asu3v3 tournament?
Long live RP Luffy 🫡
Also what mic do you use?
In what situations do you use gamma knife? :)
Great video! Also, keep us updated on Rebecca 😁
hi, why franky instead of queen? im curious, but dont like -2don :S ty for videos, hope you have more time and upload some more :) Nice run dude
Awesome videomate 10/10 tumble roll
Brook is a good option, it could be synergies with rayleigh 8 cost. What do u think?
Do they post the lists for the decks on a site? New to the game and GY Law sounded interesting love the RP Luffy content it sounds solid as well
Not this tournament, but some of them do
I really want to play a shanks RP luffy list now in OP09 but it feels scary playing a 10 drop without gum gum available 😬
That's how I felt, but you'd be surprised. It's not as scary in practice
Fun way around this is to have 7c Kid on field. Play shanks and then swing Kid to -1 don and ramp it back with leader
Great video!
Noticed you have been including a one of gamma knife in your last few lists, what do you like it for?
I actually took it out right after this. It's good vs matchups I already win, + Bonney. But there isn't enough Bonney to justify running it
@ thanks for the reply, what would you replace it with?
Would you consider this build in op9? Seems like not a lot to cut.
Kinda weird that shops don't usually sell complete decks!
I enjoy your out and about videos way more, I can hear you better
which card store? I’m in tokyo visiting and I’d like to check out some good locals tyy
Hey love your videos man! One question, I picked up Boa as a deck but I am struggling vs shanks do you have any tips for me as I noticed you said Boa is good into Shanks but I cannot figure it out.

How do i participate in a flagship battle?
I prefer my RP Luffy with 9c Newgates, 7c Kid and more ramp. You're list is very aggressive, but I think the Brook would be better in a more controlly list (great combo with 8c Rayleigh).
Brook is just decent in general as it let's me play both styles. Could be very nice with Rayleigh though I'll consider it. Only issue is activation timing.

I started with RP Luffy and gave up on it. Thanks to you I'm going to pick it back up. Do you think swapping out Sanji with the op10 Choppa blocker will make the overall deck more sustainable?
I still prefer Sanji, but chopper can be good extra defense on top of that. Sanji being a 6 cost on field is just really good
@@ikailakai op09-068 might be a sticky blocker as well now that i think of it. 6k body to swing and reactive after the turn could be a good option.
MY GOAT LETS GOO
Impeccable windmill dunk, ever thought about going pro in basketball?! xD
Nice result
Rp luffy feels like it just has too many matchups that are auto loses.
Bummer to hear ussopp has bad matchups into two powerful decks, i was hoping to play him.
Maybe ill just have to stick with betty
Prime Shaquille o Neal dunking those cards
I enjoy local vlogs like this and why does Japan get 3v3 tournament
Hi guys, great content on channel ✅
Can you help me find decklist/result of Japanese tournament?
How much were the starter decks made by the shop owner?
They were below retail lol it's not that popular
yes please make a rp luffy gameplay video
RP Luffy letsgo!
Rp luffy lover from Italy. I wonder How to adapt accusò cards here to make the list as similar as possibile to yours
My lists are super weird, so make sure to use what you are most comfortable with ^^ Io amo l'Italia
@ love you ahaha my problem is that I love strange lists Which work, so i’ll try something like that
RP lets gooo
yees give us more RP Luffy
lets goooo
i will absolutly stick it out with betty to ruin rp luffy🤣
