Alright correction time for all you hikers out there: The Long Trail only runs from Vermont’s southern border up the spine of the Green Mountains until it reaches the Canadian border to the north. The *Appalachian Trail* famously runs from Georgia to Maine, and shares the same route as the Long Trail in Vermont until it reaches to about the Rutland/Killington area, where it turns East to New Hampshire, and the Long Trail continues north. By the time the Long Trail reaches Sterling Pond it is no longer a shared route with the Appalachian Trail. Still a pretty sick spot regardless, my apologies for misspeaking. Fish on! 🎣
She’s a beaut for sure. I’ve lost more flies than I can count in the trees, definitely have to be creative with each cast. I’ve never camped up there but I may have to do that next summer! Thanks for checking the video out 🤝🏼🤝🏼
Yeah I hear ya. I will say this fish was never out of the water for more than 10 seconds at a time. Each time the camera cuts you can see water running off my hand because I was letting her get her strength back in the net in between shots. Felt pretty confident she was gonna make it after watching the underwater footage of the release 👍🏼

Yessir 🔥🔥
Camped and fished there a few weeks ago. Tough casting on a fly rod but I still caught 6 fish. Incredible spot.

The people want Above the Clouds IV!
I am a man of the people
Need less time out of the water to increase the survival of those brookies!
