I have been very ill for 2 yrs following care 24/7 of my late father. No family support. God wants us to forgive because we are then following Jesus. Forgiveness will heal you while bitterness is like drinking poison hoping the other person will die. The people who hurt you don't care, but God does and think about Him and how unfair we were to Jesus yet He forgave us from the cross. He was God but also human otherwise He would not have asked that the cross be removed, nor would he have sweated blood. Ask God to help you and I promise, you will be free. Tell God what they did then give it to Him to punish. If you obey and pray for you enemies, your heart will change
Forgiveness is a Decision. After you decide to forgive the people who hurt you, you have to bless them and you have to renounce all feelings that weren't honoring God. One of the first unclean spirit that you have to renounce is Offense. I know this because I help many people receive deliverance in the name of Jesus Christ.
