@@davesrvchannel4717 Two door design is nice also. I don't like it when the only door is next to the bed. On small RVs with not much seating area guest are inclined to sit on your bed.
Great review Dave. It looks like someone at the Coachmen design team/factory heard your comment regarding the placement of the thermostat. We just looked at the 2020 model (which now includes as standard: automotive front window, Lippert solid-step, Winegard 360 UHF TV + Wifi extender...to name a few). Anyhow, we noticed that the thermostat is now placed closer to the bathroom door, clear of the slide. It is now fully usable when the slide is closed! It's great to see some manufacturers listen and take action on constructive feedback. Also, as you mentioned, the Rockwood 2109s/Flagstaff 21FBRS units are very similar. They do have a few standard features that the Freedom Express 192RBS doesn't have; frameless windows, MaxxAir vent in the bathroom, and ducted A/C & furnace). But, in our area the 2109s is almost $5K more. On top of that, the 192RBS has heated enclosed+heated underbelly (vs just enclosed), and best of all, it uses Azel instead of Luan (which is used on Rockwood/Flagstaff). I guess it depends on what an individual considers to be most important to them. As you stated, no RV is perfect, but for someone looking for a good quality, short and light couples camper, with full-sized walk-around queen bed the Freedom Express 192RBS is hard to beat for the money (IMHO). Keep up the great reviews Dave.
The underbelly is sealed, but it is not heated. The heater is not ducted, it just puts air out right where the unit is located, which is under the drawers that are just to the left of the oven. So no air goes to the underbelly. This is mentioned in the Freedom Express brochure. I believe heated underbellies start at the 25' models.
This one is by far the 1 i like the most. Wish we could have seen the roof on this unit...is it a walkable roof? Rv show this wkend in my town and will be seeking this model out 😊
Those fans that come stock in some RV's the small 4" fan, they are completely worthless, they serve no purpose. If you upgrade going to a max air fan or similar, it will really pull air through the RV. If you are camping with no AC running in warm months, that upgrade to a better fan, is worth its weight. By far the best upgrade you can make on an RV. He will give you that upgrade free worth up to $200, with whatever he has in stock at the time
It does not have window over bed in front like the Flagstaff 21fbrs. I rally like to see out front of mine but would love to have the Azdel and heated tanks.
Like the layout; especially the bed. We've been married almost 48 years & I get up more frequently during the middle of the night. Therefore, I appreciate that I can get up without disturbing my husband. The available space seems sufficient to be indoors if it rains. My apologies if you mentioned this before, but 2 questions: 1-is it 4-seasons; 2-I am disabled & may be confined to a wheelchair - - so how accessible in this home? Also, Blessings for a Healthy, Happy & A Life Filled with Love for you in 2019. We appreciate your videos & thank you for taking us along on your journey!
The 2606WS in my opinion has very similar layout but the bathroom is more handicap friendly because of roomy and wide doorway. There are ramps that go into vans to drive up or lift up wheelchair. You'll have to check to see if those come in size to fir RV door opening. The 4 season part really depends on where you are and what season. Florida winter vs summer, is equally dramatic as Michigan seasons. Here is link to the website showing the 2606WS specs www.forestriverinc.com/product-details.aspx?LineID=214&Image=5061&ModelID=3334#Main I did a video of the Micro Lite which is a sister company, basically same layout here is link to that video, ruclips.net/video/0C04oxBOuX0/видео.html If they are still making them the same way, the difference between the two is the bathroom layout is flip flopped, between the tub on right of toilet in one RV, the other its on the left.
@@davesrvchannel4717 - Dave, I sincerely your rapid response. I use forearm crutches now, and after spending most of the summer in a wheelchair. . .it is something I must consider. Greatly appreciate you checking out these trailers. You provide wonderful information, and if you could think 4-Season & Handicapped Access in the future; I know many of us would benefit from that information. Fantastic videos and look forward to 2019. Thanks, Dave - - Barb
Plenty--- THAT is a good word.I'm replacing the counter top in my motor home and I might incorporate that sink drawer. It will depend on how far back I can put the farm sink from the edge of the counter.
Dave, What about an air conditioner? Also, you use to give those couches a sit test, How tall is the ceiling height in the main area and you used to hop in the shower so we can see if we fit. You are 6'1' correct?
with my slow southern drawl its hard to get it all in 15 minutes or less. I usually only mention if there are issues, like too firm cushions or low ceiling, etc. Matter of fact, I have got to where if I see an RV with those issues, I skip filming them. There are a couple of brands that if I tried to do a video, my honesty would not be good for the brand. Dealerships wouldn't like that. So the best thing to do is stay out of the manufactures that skimp where they shouldn't. Yes, I am 6'1
I sure do enjoy your trailer tours. Add some ballroom dancing and you’ll really be on to something! Lol I hope you and your family had a blessed and Merry Christmas.
🌟🌟I love this Open floor plan. Perfect for singles and or just 2 retirees. Didn’t see a roof AC unit? Could be it’s added when sold? Super convenient that fridge is close to the door when you are bringing in groceries and w/slide in everything is accessible when traveling. Really like the folding tables as well and no metal supports in the floors. Cleaner look😉 Thanks for sharing this little Gem. 👍🇺🇸🌟
Pretty nice!! Good review, hard to find anything negative about it! I like the garbage holder! We have a 3 gal icecream bucket with lid...guess we could bungy strap it to the table leg🤣😂🤦♀️! I think I prefer a dinette to a couch..but did like the recliner couch a while back!😁😏I saw a post here- critiquing not doing your usual stuff, ya got us spoiled Dave!! And where's Muppy!?!? Next we will want the cat and your Ma too🤣😂👍💪🤦♀️😏🤔😁😎
Great looking RV. Sometime I wish we'd chosen something that size. We're in a Cougar 27SABWE, and love it's. However, getting into some spots in the National Forests is hard at 30 feet. Anyway keep up the good work and I expect the next video to show some ballroom dancing. 😋
The larger units have their benefits but I tend to like 21' or less, hence why 95% of my videos are of smaller RV's. Thanks for watching! BTW, my dancing is horrible
That " U-tensil " drawer is a smart idea.
Very nice RV, thanks for sharing Dave!
Nice! I like that layout. I also like when the door is at the back and not in front if the bed.
I went into one today with 2 door design that I liked. I usually like to just have the door at the back too

Thanks for sharing the updates on the 2020 models. You are right. For the price its hard to beat 192RBS

You are correct, I was told wrong by someone at the dealership. I confirmed what you said on Coachman website. Great catch!
Excellent video. Thanks and happy new year. Looking forward to next year full of new videos.
Thanks Scott! Happy New Year to you!
Our Jayco is set up like this love it
hi dave great job thumbs up everbody tom
Thanks Older Man!!
Perfect floor plan for a single person. Glad this one does not have a stupid fireplace.
LOL,,, not a fan of faux fires huh,,
Dave & Muppy RV & Vlog Channel unless you are plugged into shore power. It's a waste and I never have shore power or go to campsites.
2 things I have never seen..magnetic storage door holders and the shower surround with fancy finish. Thanks for your videos.
thanks for watching Soving!!

I like as many windows as possible myself.
What is the gross weight or what should the truck have to pull for this model?
This unit looks neat & comfy; it could very well be the one for me.
Its got all I could need as well

Jim that sink drawer is the best thing to hit the RV market in 10 years
That is one of the nicest RV you have shown. I like this one very much. The price is not to bad either
I was told by Mr Johnston, that he has had very little troubles with the Coachman line. Always good to hear those kinds of words from a dealership
That’s a really nice rig; especially maybe for a solo traveler. Great bachelor pad!
like a man with a little dog and cat,,,like me, lol
Hey look an rv with power on so you can show it and see what is going on thanks for sharing have fun
nice to have power on!!
We have the exact travel trailer. Its a 2019 and we absolutely LOVE it!!!!!
Coachman is quickly becoming my favorite line!
Good look'n rig.
totally agree!
Nice unit. Only thing I didn't like was how tight of fit the toilet is. I do like that trash can.

Great RV. Plenty of storage and counter space. Nice to see the larger fridge too. Very tempting on this one.
I'D dream at night to have a fridge that big in my RV

L@@KING GOOD! azdel siding!
good stuff!!
no ac
Believe there is one. At around 3.10 you can see what looks like a AC unit on the ceiling.
Yep, its got ac, y'all caught me napping on the job!
