I was a teacher for 16 years, 4 of which were at a high school. There were high school boys who tried to get out the way w me because, sadly, one of the administrators in the school was messing w a student and bc a lot of the boys knew it, they thought they could try other teachers. I would politely and firmly let them know that I don't play that. Some of them were 17 or 18 and feeling themselves, but so what? I'm still a person w morals w no desire to get down w A KID! I don't know what these teachers are thinking!

It's nothing new. It's been going on for decades. It's just that with technology it's better documented. Text messages and social media leave a lot of evidence that can't be destroyed.
I believe she was trying to re-live her high school years. Most of these female teachers weren't popular in high school. They feel it's their second chance to be popular in high school and be with that popular male student. So, it's a mental issue. You can examine this teacher...she's a cheer coach, created a rap video, and most likely dresses in all the hip/popular fashion. Most likely, she's on teen social media sites and pops up at teenagers' hang-out spots. Don't forget the teen parties she might have had at her house. These types of teachers all follow the same patterns.
How often this nonsense happens is funking CRAZY to me. I work in a high school, and I can't even fathom the thought process. I love most of my students, but I can't wait to get away from all of them by the end of the 8th period. 😅
It's literally always been like this in the US at least. Difference now is we take sexual assault (SA) more seriously now, and even more recently we take it serious when the perpetrator is female and the victim male. For so long men and boys were incapable of being SA'ed unless the perpetrator was male. Before it was a shame to have done to you and a taboo to talk about. We're talking now. We more widely understand the harm it does. We also have the Internet now so instead of that one really big, sensational case that grips the nation, we get all that make their local headlines

He was probably @ least 18 so technically he's not a minor but with their age differences it may still be a crime. Also against school policy. Even if she was a professor and he was a grad student it would be inappropriate at best.

I went to Job Corps a continuation school when I was 17 years old. They accept students15-25 and up to 35 if they have mental or intellectual issues. Well I had a teacher he was only in his 30s and looked young and acted young and didnt teach shyyyyt all he did was sit in his chair having girls give him back massages it was so unproffesional. I also had another male teacher also in mid or early 40s good looking man who cared about students never did anything like that I had no parents and would skip school and class he yelled at me like he was my father in the hallway one time and he saw me cutting school at the store and had a talk with me his name was Mr. Skills he taught life skills class literally that was the name of the class so their are bad teachers and good ones.

Our principal at my old school, said he had to tell grown people "teachers" just because a student is 18 and just graduated doesnt mean you can pick them up after their graduation. Some of us was like umm. That actually happened and he was like yeah. Another school i was at their were rumors about things going on. But not that long ago an assistant principal was arrested for having sex with a 16 year old girl at the school. Heck, someone i went to college with that worked in the school system got arrested for the same thing. Just craziness.
