TEMU HAUL UK - HONEST REVIEW - IS IT WORTH IT?

So, I must have been living under a rock as I hadn't heard of TEMU until someone mentioned it in my comments the other day, and so I thought I would purchase and try some small homeware items and see if they are worth it, so you can decide whether it's something you'd like to try for yourself. That way you can make a better judgement and save your pennies!
Overall verdict - reminds me a lot of SHEIN and Wish, so nothing new there. The quality of what I bought was actually fairly decent, but there was some damaging to labels etc as I showed, and I felt that was a let down. Ethically, I don't know enough about their processes, but any value-focused store, whether online or not, is likely to be similar and that is ultimately your decision and you'll get no judgement from me.
Would I buy from their again? - Hmm...maybe, but only for something specific. I am more likely to stick to B&M and Home Bargains or charity shops for small homeware items like the ones I bought though, as I like being able to hold them and see the quality first. I have heard a few things about scams or poor quality, so the point of this video was to try it for myself and feedback to you with my thoughts in hope that it helps!

I am a very average mum, but I try my absolute best at whatever I do, and hopefully you enjoy following along!
Just imagine how horrendous the working conditions could be at that price. Not to mention feeding consumerism.

I'm sorry but everyone is suffering at the moment, horrendous working conditions but still working.
Also don't believe everything you see in the media, unless you've experienced the warehouse yourself the you have no clue what it's like.
Temu is great, we are all struggling for money and they have nice decent well made things for a good price.

I touched on this in my video description. I don’t judge people for shopping where they choose, or where best meets their needs, and this was merely to test it out for value and quality. Your opinion is valid but I also think it’s good to keep things respectful. xx
I have become hooked on Temu. Their rice hand cream is one of the best creams I ever had. It softens your skin immediately.

hey ive bought from them. Most of the stuff is just fine but a few things are nothing like they appear in the pics and i have to return it. just in the process of that when i find out how to return it I'll let u know.

I have ordered a few bits from Temu last month and I was skeptical about it at first but I think it is fab. I ordered homeware items as well. I got some bath mats that were just over £1 and they are excellent quality. They are really soft, thick and big. They look great, so I would use them again.
I am glad to have tried it as I think the quality of what I’ve bought is fab! Bar some label issues etc. It reminds me very much of Home Bargains or B&M but online! At least when it comes to homeware. xx
How can they afford to sell at such cheap price?
@@originalunoriginal4055Google Temu pricing strategy. Its Chinese parent company is Pinduoduo. Their sell goods in large quantities and shipping items in super large container ships in full capacity so the cost is minimised.

As a man I rarely shop but when working in China , I shop almost daily online for all kinds of amusing items. When I was moving back to the uk, I shipped back a shoe cabinet , beverage fridge,bedding, towels.
My advice is to always read buyers’ reviews and only buyers reviews.

I tried it out on a few things. I wouldn't bother again because although things are cheap, they're junk that won't last.
Hi Charlotte tks for sharing. ive used Temu a few times now..most of the stuff i was very happy with but a pair of very nice sandals have to be returned cos its just about half a size off. most of the stuff was good quality and just like the pics but a few items were nothing at all like the pics and were cheapy and tacky looking. like earings and fashion pendants ...even if 0ļ

Most of the items i have purchased are craft items, as in Ireland very difficult to find craft stuff in shops

@CharlotteLouiseTaylor yea definitely, you can just be harmlessly flicking through and adding things to your wishlist or cart and next thing you know you have £££ worth of stuff, very easily done for sure 🤣
Temu is great my kids had hair clips bracelets rings I had a fan top the hubby had sun glasses head phones very good and also my friends had stuf like make up bath mat ❤
I bought one of those glasses from Temu and it was delivered smashed :( Looks so cute! Might try and get another :) We were thinking iced coffees would look cute in it too.

Never heard of Temu. I am trying to catch-up on several weeks off social media, so have lots of yours since the flood video. I see that the shelving behind you as you film this appears to be more like it was before the deluge, so I'm hoping things are back to normal in your home or at least the kitchen and bathrooms that are essential to daily life. Glad you're still sane. LOL. Renovations are so disruptive and then there's all the worry about did you get everything dried-out and not breeding mold.
I hadn’t until someone commented about it last week! The house is still waiting for restoration. Thankfully the shelving behind me wasn’t affected but the floor is having to come up and be dried out and then replaced. It’s going to be a busy summer I think! xx

The prices they offer make me think they’re after your bank details, no company would sell at those silly prices!
As far as I’ve seen they seem quite legitimate and pretty similar price-wise to the likes of Wish and B&M etc. But I will definitely update if anything bad happens! xx

Buying from temu is to hammer a nail in the coffin of uk plc. Better to get from home bargains, b&m etc. Even if the products there come from China, it's keeping people employed in the UK.
This review sounds paid, also comments are all positive, so negative ones were probably deleted. Trust Pilote reviews are a mixed bag. This comment might also get deleted.
It’s against the ASA and CMA guidelines to post brand work without declaring, so considering this is my job, which I take seriously, I wouldn’t risk that for some olive oil bottles and glasses!
