Growing up I only ever came back to Canada in the summer up until I was 16....Ytv and Sugar made up the brunt of my experience here. Both will always hold a special place in my development
There was actually two channels one for East coast viewers in the Homebase where they all got it live and one for West coast viewers of Canada which had at least a 2 - 3 hour delay behind.
This must have been the same day as my breaks then, neat! Weird how I remember the specials being on every weekday instead of every Monday that April. Age can play some funny tricks on one's memory!
I remember watching this back then great memories and I had A crush on this beautiful actress sugar lyn was the greatest female Canadian actress I thought so and I just didn't enjoy her movie role on mike and Dave need wedding dates but sugar lyn is the best like I said before
Really? Damn, that would've been awesome to experience. I never got to catch Toonami as a kid. If I recall, on YTV they only aired the first four DBZ movies plus the Bardock and Trunks special.
It was at this point that The Zone definitely went to s**t -- both Pat and Jenny were gone, the block received a new logo and on-air presentation, and it eventually became nothing more than "SpongeBob SquarePants every weekday".

Digimon i believed always aired at 4pm weekdays in the zone in 2002. I know because i remember coming home and it always played at that time.
Pokemon then Digimon.
I remember having 1 hour of TV a day and you can imagine which block I spent it on.
Always dbz at 8-8:30 for me.

Stephanie Beard the voice of Rini Sailor Mini Moon in Sailor Moon.
That's the voice of wish Bear from the big wish movie
They still aired Digimon on The Zone in 2002? I always thought they phased it out, especially that they were airing season 1 episodes again.
After some digging through old YTV schedules, I can confirm this was from April 2002. Every monday night that month they aired a DBZ movie/special.
Reminds me when Cartoon Network in the US aired a DBZ movie/special every friday on Toonami throughout September of 2003.

Sugar and Carlos were great hosts.
It was better in the early 90s.
