So, is cogging a running phenomena, or is it mostly a start up phenomena? And is cogging an issue if the motor has a flywheel attached? Like a phonograph motor for example.
I am trying to explain how a 16/12 ratio BLDC motor works and if cogging is even an issue when there is a 4 pound platter/flywheel attached.

The torque developed by the synchronous motor at start when rated voltage is applied to the stator is known as
    A) Locked rotor torque
    B) Pull in torque
    C) Pull out torque
    D) Running torque
    Please reply sir with answer

    • @syerragaming8661

after that instant the value of slip is low and torque will be directly propotional to slip which means torque is inversely proportional to rotor speed..
