I feel like the Duffer brother would never kill Steve because they know it would be shooting themselves in the foot. I mean, they love Joe Keery so much that they scrapped their plan to kill him off in season 1 and gave him a redemption arc. Yes, I'm using those facts to ease my anxiety lol.
The season has set Steve up as the most lovable, big brother character with strong kinship with almost every member of the group, not to mention one of the fan favorites. Sure, Steve is important, on and off screen. But, he's not the original core D&D foursome (+ El) the show began with and revolved around. The show has deliberately raised him on a high pedestal. The higher he is, the harder his fall will... emotionally crushing to see him sacrificing for Nancy, Robin, and Dustin out of aforementioned love. I worry for him.
That scene with Steve makes my anxiety go through the roof but the scene with max escaping Vecna makes me anxious. Sad as f , scared , depressed and Relieved all In one.
I'm so glad y'all are remembering that El is a little kid during those memory scenes because for whatever reason a lot of people miss that. Also I need Steve to fully recover. The Satanic Panic with the Hellfire Club is sooooo good. I can't wait to see what the parents are going to do and I'm curious about how they'll prove Eddie's innocence. I personally feel like they won't because Hawkins is already being indoctrinated and if Eddie goes to prison or dies then that will be insane.
I'm glad I'm not the only one ready to riot if they kill Steve lol . Whats crazy is I didn't realize how much I cared about his charcter till they put him in this situation
This show is Fire! #Justice4Steve, you guys are in for the best episodes of the season, if not the series. You thought episode 4 was great? 7 is going to blow your mind. It sucks because we have to wait till July to see the last 2 episodes. I think they did that so they can keep people around to pay for another month of Netflix.
That's how I am feeling, s5 will not exist to me if anything happens to Steve. I didn't finish Death Note for over 10 years when L died, now I just skip that chapter, he's on big vacation ok, lol. I can do it. Crazy how we've gone from "you're a huge douchebag Steve ugh" to "not a hair on his head better go missing". Amazing character arc Steve has gotten with how he's grown. Will you have a watch along for e7? Cause I absolutely would love to see your reaction to the entire eps.
can i say something that make me sad. the duffer brothers would make great xmen writers/directors imo. just not in the mcu. i feel the marvel universe model wouldnt allow them to stretch their wings imo.

I just saw a film with him playing a villain it was real time and creepy. It is called Spree. He's a killer Uber driver it was wild.
It's why he is dying. It's nancy or him, and I bet my third nut sack it's Steve.
