@@ViniciusOliveira-ik8rm 700$ my ass... Here in Europe, it’s more around 7000€. There’s multiple brands who can do that. The brands are Hilo Roof, Reimo, SCA, StyleVan to name a few. There’s also something annoying about that, you need the car marker authorisation to cut the body which can be almost impossible to obtain as a DIYer. If you doncut the body without this permissions, you’ll be in trouble with your insurrance and even more in trouble if you crash the vehicule without all the certifcations.
I don’t know the rules in the states, but here in Europe the laws has evolve in 2018 because there were too many idiots installing that kind of roof the wrong way with all the troubles you can imagine that come with... Hope that help 🙂

OK... but doesn't cutting the crossbeams on the top reduce the structural rigidity of the car?! They are put with a purpose and I don't want to drive a car without such...
Hi Benzino, I understand your concern about the strength of the vehicle after the roof aperture has been cut out. The strengthening that is lost is restored when the roof frame is fitted. Reimo roofs are fully TUV approved and as part of this approval process a before and after vehicle rigidity test is carried out. The result after the roof has been fitted is virtually exactly the same as before the original roof is cut away.

Hi Mat, the frame is integral to the roof plinth on the Easyfit roof and the plinth is bonded to the top of the vehicle.
