I still find in crazy that fire force is a prequel of soul eater.

The amount of unique powers Okubo was able to pull from the basis of "heat or fire" abilities is so insane.

One more thing I’d add is because Adola is a dimension of ideas pyrokinetic’s strength is determined by their perception. The best example of this is how Shinra couldn’t use the horn hand sign because of the association with the devil however later Obi noted how it also has an association with rock and roll.🤘
Overall great video. Would u even cover B. Ichi later down the line, I don’t think a lot of fire force or Soul eater fans have seen it?

What I love most about Karim's ability is that, as dumb as this may sound, there is an *actual, real world scientific principle behind it.* "Thermoacoustics" are an ACTUAL thing.

The interpretation I always got for the limitations on what even is a valid pyrokinetic ability, is that they involve either fire, or something *one step removed* from fire in any single direction.
Byproducts of fire, such as smoke.
Other forms of plasma, such as electricity.
Related properties of fire such as heat.
Things that can directly result in fire, such as flammable gas.
Scientific principles surrounding fire, such as thermoacoustics.
Processes that make direct use of fire, such as tempering metal.
    And so on.

One thing that bugged me about Fire Force's power system is that, while they rely on explanations using our understanding of physics, they don't act according to those physics at all.
You don't even need to get into fourth generation abilities to see this. The guy with the saxaphone turns heat into sound, which is fine, but then he turns sound into cold? Cold isn't some 'anti-heat' energy, it's literally just the absence of heat. That's like using bananas to delete other bananas and pretending that makes sense according to physics.
And it gets so much worse when you get into fourth generation abilities. Shinra going faster than light lets him go back in time. This on its own is just an understandable misconception about FTL travel, but instead of causing Shinra to go back in time relative to his surroundings, he goes back in time relative to... Himself? That's completely nonsensical.
And don't get me started on freezing everything and stopping the expansion of the universe. Bringing everything to absolute zero wouldn't stop time or the expansion of the universe, it would just freeze everything. The idea that absolute zero stops all motion is another misconception; it only halts molecular motion and even then not all of it (electrons still orbit for example)
If the fourth generation abilities just broke physics completely, I wouldn't care, but Licht is right there, and according to him, this is... Just how physics works? What?
I've had people tell me that physics in the fire force world fundamentally works differently from ours due to Edola and this is explained in the manga. First of all, it's not so much as hinted at anywhere in the anime and I don't read manga. Second, all of these look an awful lot like the author just not understanding physics, writing in a bunch of misconceptions, and retconning it later.

      Get this….
It’s a fictional world in a fictional universe that can have physics be slightly similar to what we know but be applied completely differently. That’s the beauty of story telling and if you want to put this much emphasis on our understanding and observations of physics into fiction then no single story will make sense because get this, the world works in a way the story needs it to work.
Guns never run out of ammo in action movies, people can’t actually fly, Batman doesn’t exist. The fictional world uses physics that make that world able to exist.
And the fact that okubo was able to make all of these powers believable with only fire being the only ability it’s pretty fucking nuts and you see why there needs to be some liberties taking.
      Otherwise there’s no fire force.
It’s not that big a deal

If, during a gunfight, a scientist shows up and explains to the audience that guns don't need to be reloaded, all while giving the impression that the author actually believes this is how guns work, then yeah, people would be upset.
You seem to have missed the part where I made it extremely clear that if this stuff was handwaved MORE, it would have bothered me LESS. It's when the show tries to explain things and just keeps digging itself deeper and deeper that I get annoyed.

If your response to all criticism is that it's nitpicking, you're free to leave. I'm not trying to stop you from liking it, just expressing why I found it unpleasant to watch.

I challenge anybody to not mention (SPOILERS) when a fire force video comes out jeez
And I just mean the fact that fire force is a prequel in the comments
