OlympicWS, you make awesome videos. The How much Time Is Left videos of Titanic & Britannic really moved me. I was crying on the inside because of those videos. This video of Britannic is way past cool! And the one you made of the Ile De France, with the song Sonera, I love it!
Thanks for the upload. How many people would know about ``Britannic` and her fate, probably 1 in 100,000 at a guess? WW1 has to be the most destructive in all history. Not only for the loss of life and damage to infrastructure etc. but because ultimately it caused WW2 which proved even more horrendous.
Even with the water tight doors brought all the way up to D deck she still sank ? They say it was because of all the porthole windows being open since it was so hot ? Crazy !!!

It's a shame this ship didn't have a normal life in conjunction with the Olympic. That might have been interesting. The davits certainly were ugly on the Britannic. I didn't like the poop deck, either. Olympic and Titanic were the best looking 4-stackers.

Britannic reused Olympic's slipway as by then the Olympic was already in service. the first photo featured of the Britannic's keel and the almost-complete Titanic to the left is one of the only such photos in existence (there are many photos of Titanic and Olympic side by side). chilling that they would both sink in a matter of months to a few years.

I made the giant mistake of watching the Britannic movie not too long ago and it's, damn, it's absolutely HORRIBLE. I didn't necessarily expect it to be great; I just didn't expect it to be THAT bad. Lol
