We are not selling Diaz and Trent will sign. However, If Diaz and Darwin don't produce more polished game this year, I can see Arne moving them on next year. They have to produce this year.

Like all the corporations that bought football clubs, FSG bought LFC for the sole purpose of making money. They will only sell or buy players if it makes business sense. Yes they want LFC to win trophies but only for increasing the "value" of the club. Unlike the owners of Manchester City who bought the club just for fun and fame.
Diaz out and De Jong goes the other way, I'd accept that. There is another player we would get ahead of man utd lol. we have 4-5 players who can play on the left. I dare say that left wing is the most covered area on the pitch: Diaz, Jota, Gakpo, Nunez, Elliott, Szoboslai and some youngsters can all play left wing. We don't need to replace Diaz 1 for 1. Take De Jong instead, it's a far more pressing matter to get the DM sorted.

Elliot is terrible on the left but brilliant on the right definitely not a LW and Szoboslai in a midfielder not a winger, you could have Koumas but he's been loaned out

Slot's previous highest signing was $8mil (albeit in a league hardly as strong as the championship) so Klopp's expensive stars should be easy for him to work with, right?? right??? Any thought of selling Diaz would be the last straw - I hate people thinking Gordon is an upgrade - Diaz is incredible and has potential to be even better under slot - let’s give these boys a season under slot to truly see if there’s more to unlock and if not then in January / next summer go big again

Endo is slow, gets caught in possession, has poor technique, can't find a pass and his decision making is too slow. But other than that he's great.

He obviously isn't the solution to our 6 problem long term but I would happily take him over any stop gap solution we may go for. He isn't Zubimendi but is a lot better than anyone else we can get to fill that gap at such short notice. The man has ability and will fight for the badge. I will always back a player with those attributes. Veratti at his peak I will agree was much better than Endo is now but those days are long gone.
The people who's slating Endo are the same people who slated Hendo and Gini in the past. "No technical ability", "no forward pass". But both were our most trusted workhorse MF engine in our title winning team

Tikyson.. so i guess winning the league cup, fa cup, eufa cup and European super cup in 1 season (2001), another league cup in 2003, the champions league in 2005, fa cup in 2006, champions league finalists in 2007 was all irrelevant, and that’s not counting being ranked in the top 3 in Europe from 2005 to 2009, finishing runners up in the premier league a few times, once with only 2 defeats all season, the majority of clubs would die for that sort of irrelevancy.

This year we lost Matip , Thiago n 2 more players but yet we are supposed to be better than last year n competitive with - 4 players n no new additions😂 N with a new manager at the helm . Been a Liverpool fan since 1983. With FSG not strengthening the team, it's time to move on and just enjoy soccer from all teams without stressing myself over Liverpool's performances.
Why are Liverpool selling so much but not buying anything. We need a DM first before anything. It’s been this way for 2 years. Very frustrating. And when it comes to Trent. If the rumours are true that he wants £300,000/week no way Liverpool should pay that. That is a ridiculous price tag for a RB.

The owners are complete shysters, they play “kick the can down the road” and just hold off until it shuts and say “we tried, we failed but, we tried” it’s the same story every window. FSG dun have to worry about Slot if they dun sign any players. They employed him as head coach and Slot have no say in the transfer window. If any key players decide to depart before the end of the window, then we will have another last minute rush to sign championship players to plug the gap or FSG expect Slot to deal with the shortage himself.

Once the fixtures list intensfies, the mounting injuries will cause more headache for the head coach and the squad rotation and limited number of youngsters- some on loan and some being sold off- will affect the performance of the team if no reinforcement is done to remedy it.
