Good Stuff and videos. Hunted and killed a good buck that was bedding less than 40 yards from the back of the Farmers barn and house. Took me a few times of hunting too figure out where he was and how he was moving. The Big boys always seem to use cover and areas that we hunter over look.
You guys are more than capable of competing with THP, if not becoming bigger! Excellent content fellas!
Appreciate it, man!
You can tell when it's cold when the rhododendron weeps in them woods!
Absolutely!
That was very informative I hunt big woods In Pennsylvania and western Maryland definitely awesome info I’ll be checking this out for sure thanks for a awesome video
Love the video
Great informational video👍👍🔥🔥
Good info, gives you something to think about if you’re not seeing Bucks, try some of these tips to make a good hunt, also love the Fred Asbell wool some is y’all are wearing I know I love mine.
Good stuff man!
Appreciate it!
Like the video! I’m bow hunting my hometown here in Harlan Ky. The deer numbers are low and zero ag. Steep rough mountains. I’ve been using big power line edge that’s close to transition into oaks...
Mountain hunting at it's finest! Good luck!
Big fan of all the guys you are collaborating with! Great video! Looking forward to the next videos with Nathan and Alan. Now, how long before you get longbow in Heath's hands?
Trail cameras for confirmation of seasonal activity would be valueable
During the rut (especially) clumped-up droppings are usually made from a doe, buck droppings are usually hard, black and more individualized indicating a poor diet as bucks dont eat as much as does.
Boys I hunted hard on a reclam strip mine had hard time getting on the big buck beds ....
Where did you get the brown and black plaid jacket? Could tell us in the next video? I enjoy your videos.
Asbell wool
Where did you get your flannel jacket???
Well these mtn deer here in wv have no specific bedding.
How do you know it’s buck bedding?
Asking because I’ve finally learned how to find these. Sometimes it’s real obvious with buck sign. Or maybe just 1 nice rub.
But sometimes it’s in a type of vegetation here in SC that they just don’t rub(sweetgum/pine mix) but everything else lines up to be buck. And clearly consistently used bed.
Do does ever bed like this?
My bad. Yall are answering this in the video. I hadn’t made it that far.
I will say I had seen on video bucks shit pebbles.
But I agree, if it’s very large. It’s a big deer.
Clumped droppings don't always mean Bucks, eating a lot of woody browse will cause it...jmo but when I find them I assume that they are also.
Any experience with deer lures actually working?
A couple of times for sure! The most important thing is timing!
All that sign you're finding is Young bucks the big bucks are away from people that's why they're big
