I have my car almost a week now.
Wow

Wow
@@michielderuyter6011 would you recommend it? Because I’m considering the cls or a e class
@@wolfqlf2287 I picked the E class last week! Love it! What did you end up getting?
I love driving mine. only gripe I have is run flat tyres
What is your opinion about quality/materials how does it feel to drive this E class cheap or expensive? Is it comfortable enough?
The quality and feel of the materials in the W213 E Class is overall pretty good. It is not as solid feeling and high quality materials as in a S Class, but compared to a W205 C Class it feels much better. The standard suspension is decently comfortable, but if you really want the most comfortable car in its class, you should definitely get one with the Airmatic air-suspension option. Thanks for watching the video, hope this helps you out.
@@faithonwheels53 yes thnx for the response.
I'm looking at a 2017 coupe 220d. ty 4 vid bro
Same did u get it
@@Miskeen20 Yes sir. Had it for around 8 months now. Super and smooth as. ty
Super car driver
video of trips in which country?
The Netherlands
Nice car
What is the consumption of this e220d?
When you drive it mainly sporty you get 8 liters per 100 km. But with cruise control on the highway, you can get as low as 4 liter per 100 km. It is great for long distance cruises.
@@faithonwheels53 8 liters it's hard to achieve. This car is incredibly fuel efficient. You will have to drive it very aggressively to get that. Slow long eco drives can get you in the low 3.x which is great for the size of this car. With mixed driving I get 5.5 to 6.5. I keep my foot under half pedal with some higher throttle here and there for fun.
When will you drop the review?
Upcoming Friday! Stay tuned:)
Roermond?
Hoofddorp en Schiphol:)
Thinking of buying one. Leather/Fabric seats, automatic, no digital cockpit. Would you recommend the digital gagues and lane assist or can you live without it?
Very good choice indeed. But definitely get the digital gagues (widescreen cockpit)! It offers so much versatility and keeps the retailprice more valueable. Lane keeping assist is not a must have, you will be fine without it.
Digit cockpit is a must-have. Confort and helpful tech are a must given the amount of time we spend in traffic. There is also the ugly part where the manufacturer makes the standard gauges not as high quality to upscale the digital version.
Whats that light blinking on the left?
The red triangle is the collision prevention assist, comes on when driving too close to other cars. The other symbol that is almost constantly on is just the speed limit.
Thanks for the fast reply. @@faithonwheels53
i was expected less noisy
It is not an S Class of course, but the mic setup was not optimal, in person it is a bit better.
Very loud road noise in cabin imo, bad sound isolation so tire noise is high, i got the BMW F11 535D from 2011 and its so quiet and im on 275 wheels in the back still no noise, thought about changing to this w213 E220d but this make me reconsider about that. Not worthy an E model to be this badly isolated even if its only a 220d engine. E400 and up is not this loud in the cabin so Mercedes definitely cheaped out on these cheaper ones.
Great car the 535d, those are indeed insulated, comfortable and dynamic. Sound insulation from this E220d is a bit better in person, the microphone positioning was not optimal. But I agree, in cheaper models they put less insulation and being a 4 cilinder diesel also does not help with sound insulation..
@@faithonwheels53 Yes i saw other videos of the car where it was better so im sure you are right.
Yes i have the adaptive dampers and the antiroll thingy so its pretty nice but i just stage 2 tuned it and with the dpf delete it smells way to much for my liking so im considering changing to a petrol car they have race cats if you wanna tune the car so it will be no smell. But im looking at E220d too they are very cheap where i live on the use market.
@@mrd799 you will miss the crazy bottom end torque of the 535d. But if you want a economic and still decently fast comfortable daily, you can go for the W213 E220d. I recommend at least the wide screen cockpit and if you can also the airmatic airsuspension(but this one is rare in the used market)
@@faithonwheels53 Yes its also very rare in the f10/11 to have this adaptive damper which is the same thing as mercedes airsuspension, Its like night and day difference to have it. Now im so used to it when i ride with someone else in their car i think its so stiff and uncomfortable
About the bottom end torque, it is nice when you drive normally perfect for city driving, but there is something special about the uneven power delivery with a high reving petrol engine, Mine has same acceleration from low rpm to high even though its very very good acceleration 400 hp i still find myself doing kickdowns just to get it reving from the beginning. i find it kinda boring with the low end torque when you want to have fun because it almost feels electric without much sound but in ciity its perfect.
In a few years i migh get a used Tesla because in comparison to even a e220d lets say consumption 5 litres per 100km. at todays price its over 0.90 euro per 100km. a tesla would be 0.2 euro per 100km today.
It all comes down to the camera/mic.. It is one of the most silent cars of all..
