if you need any more ideas just leave a comment and I will def respond! (also read the description for the cold email template + journal to publish research + promo code). good luck in ur college apps!
Hey George! Thanks fit the video and the great ideas however, I think there's a bit of an issue regarding some ideas even though they're great for example the podcast idea. It's totally great but since now it's already the applications season starting a podcast last minute would probably be very obvious for the admission committee that you did it just for the sake of the admission and not cuz you have a genuine interest in it.
I am a freshman in high school and don't have anything other than a few volunteering hours. I am in a few clubs, but it hasn't resulted in any achievements. I just wanted some advice about what I can do now outside of school.
ok assuming ur doing premed, so over the summer try getting some research at a local college by emailing at least 30 professors to get a response. You can also get some shadowing under a doctor which you can find by asking ur primary doctor or emailing local clinics/ dept of a local hospital. And try asking ur teachers and upper classmen they probably have some useful info about where to get research or wtv.
Set your camera up higher so it is straight on or a little above eye level. Your speaking is reasonably good, but you could perfect your voice quality. Your voice trails off and trails up as though you are questioning when in fact your are delivering a statement. Consider filming an interview with another student to share their experience.
yea I gotcha. so if ur tryna do premed I would def try getting into a lab research over the summer. so like cold email 30 professors from ur local college, that way they could include you in a publication. I would also look into working as a pharm tech trainee since you will get clinical exp and get paid. link to apply: www.pharmacy.texas.gov/applicants/tech-trainee.asp and make sure to keep that SAT up and if you get the chance network with upperclassmen as they will give you solid advice on this stuff. good luck!
