Nioh 2 is such an underrated gem
I feel like her golden butterfly zoning attack she does at times like 05:38 should be a burst counter attack (the same with Saika Magoichi's flame zoning whistle move). Though really, I don't think that attack should exist as part of her moveset to begin with since she's an incredibly fast-paced fight and the move simply is there to cockblock no-damage runners and aggressive players.
I need to hurry up and complete the first one so I can play the sequel. Looks so much more fun

I like using the sword, but Corrupted Susano Fists and dual swords are such a good combo vs damned scrolls/Abyss depth bosses. I once hit one of those annoying twin water scythe yokai with the purple aura for 100K damage, and with no HP it killed me in a swing 😑 anyone up for damned scroll farming? Gets boring having to farm the underworld depths for em alone.
Also what sword skill was that at 6:41? Never did that with my sword build.
The skill at 6:41 is the Living Weapon Strong Attack. I can only use it because I'm using the Skill Expansion mod by sadocommando. I 100% recommend using it if you're on PC.

Perhaps i am getting forgetful, but when Tate-chan recovery from her stunned stat, and jumped in the air, is it a timely guard or a burst counter that protects you from her crystals shards on the ground, at 3:44? I never used the counter outside of enemies burst attacks, or combo extending

The Brute Yokai Shift parry "Fang Break" can basically parry anything (except grabs). Normally, you can just i-frame through it or use abilities like the Fists' Opportunist to cancel out the entire Area-of-effect Slam. Just think of it as a single shockwave that looks funky.

Where can I find more of these scroll with purple bosses? I only got a purple Tokichiro and another one with purple Gozuki/Mezuki.
Are they depth-only rewards? I don't play depth mission that frequently.

Just the usual Pit Viper, Red Demon stuffs so I use less ki. I also use a few pieces of Ame no Uzume to get some ki recovery and movement speed on Dodge attacks.

Most people consider Tate Eboshi supremely difficult. A Purple version of her has triple the HP.
@@PooferLlama It looks like a normal fight to me but then again i haven't played the game after the platinum. Is this a special kind of mob? I don't recall this even from the dlc.
