..that’s harsh, didn’t he win a few majors. Watching Nicholas or Faldo was like watching paint dry, so careful and lacking free flow in their minds, they would have been good administrators. Greg was a free flowing player, brilliant to watch
I’ve never heard as much noise on a golf course in my life. Sounds like helicopters hovering over the course or Jets taking off. How can Norman be complaining about fans when you can’t even hear him talking over all that noise.
Oh, for goodness sake. These videos have been posted for nostalgia purposes. You're not seriously going to to sit through 4 hours of old footage, waiting to see who won a tournament from 40 years ago?! It's like sitting through four hours of Election Coverage from 1984, waiting to see who wins..... Come on.
@@MrAJR76 Nostalgia purposes? Ok. Whatever you say. Do you really think people are going to watch 4 hrs of golf knowing who won because it's nostalgic? Hilarious.
Remember that in 1986, tvs were very small...and those that did have huge tvs, had incredibly bad picture anyways. There were these 400lb contraptions, with cellulite (not cellular) like images, that expanded to 50 inches or so....the only thing that was better, was that everyone knew everything about everything. We all knew who won last night's game...as it was on only one channel of about 2 or 3 in sports. Every show, we knew....but now with the internet, streaming etc...I don't even have a conversation with my 22 year old son about anything.
We were ale to watch tv back in the day because we focused on the substance of the content and picture quality was far down the list of what was important. Today, picture quality is better than ever before, but the substance of the content is crap.

Great crew...I always enjoyed them....Judy Rankin was spot on...but all them were really.
Raymond's swing was not for everybody, but the man could sure stripe it.
From the days of the homemade swing era. It was not a textbook design.
Floyd's swing not textbook but it's not how long but how many.A golfer at our club hit the ball miles but never won the club championship and I dis.
Caddied for Ray Floyd maybe half a dozen times, the swing is always the same. Chipping and putting, great
So refreshing not to hear the commentators say “ false front” or “ center cut” or the obnoxious drunk in the gallery yelling “in the hole”.
Yu Da Man!
It's amazing that the camera man could track a ball with this 80s tech
Norman always preferred to wait until Sunday to crumble.
😂😂😂😂
Wow such insight .
Or whenever he played a major in the same pairing with Nick Faldo.

@@cdunne1620Greg actually had a “couple” majors not a “few”. And it’s Nicklaus not Nicholas 😂 new golf fan?
The high pitched ringing goes away around the 1:52:00 mark
Thanks...I had my volume down around 4...and my girlfriend came upstairs and asked what in the hell that ringing noise was!!!
I wish... but I've had tinnitus for a long time.
Lee wore red on Sunday long before some guy did.
Oh man this is epic
2:24:18 Never count Raymond Floyd out.
Unless it’s the 1990 Masters.
`I wish the winner wasn't shown in the title. Some of us don't remember or know who won. It spoils things for us.
4:09 The Prophet of Love, BARRY WHITE!
Floyds swing wasn,t text book but its not how long but how many.A golfer at our club it the ball miles but never won the club championship and i did.
That noise is driving me crazy 🤪
ITS STOPPED. Halalelujah

Good Ole Jim McKay.. miss that voice
01:02:30 120 to 130 yards - 8 iron..... lol how times have changed
The 8 irons had 43 degrees of loft.
@@tightmf and the ball changes
At 3:13:35 ... what a prophetic statement! I believe that was Dave Marr....but I'm not sure. Anyways...wow. It would come true.
Since the title tells us who won, no need watching it. Thanks.
I wish they wouldn't do that!

@@MrAJR76 Nobody watches for 4 hrs, but they will watch the final few holes. Or at least they would before they already knew who won
@@MrAJR76 You are right. I guess I need to “get a life.”
Medications did that to Sutton... like Jerry Lewis.
" ...... Hal Sutton, the athletic son of ...". He soon became the unathletic fat Hall Sutton .....
The athletic son from a wealthy family... I found that an odd introduction.
How did you boomers watch tv that was so blurry?
It’s amazing we survived without HD video lol
Because they were unaware of the capabilities of the future. In 50 years, kids will say “how did you zoomers watch with only 4k??” 😂
