- Опубликовано: 12 апр 2024
- Today the pigs came out of the woods and on to fresh pasture! The grass is finally growing and we are able to start moving our animals out on pasture. They have been in the woods for most of the winter to keep our pastures from getting ruined during the rainy season.

Hello John, I thought I would update you on Chloe and Wilbur. She did cycle on the 30th of last month so we are keeping track of her and seeing if she is bred or cycles again. I’m just happy to have these wonderful family members. Thank you 🙏 again for the opportunity to start growing our own food and farm. 40 Shades of Green Farm, Bill, Cate, Chloe, and Wilbur. Blessings to you and your family and have a wonderful week
Awesome thanks for the update
Put our chicks in the tractor on pasture yesterday! Supposed to have cold weather this week but put tarps on. Ours are about 1/2 week behind yours.
Good morning! It’s a beautiful day here in Minnesota. Hope your day is awesome to! Man those chicks grow!
So glad you’re having a great day thanks for sharing!
Love your pig updates!!! ❤❤ I want my own Kune Kunes so bad...... maybe some day??
Hi John. The pig that I like most molly. Of course I like Cal. I know he's not a pig.
He’s kind of like a pig😂
Everytime I watch a video I am so amazed at how good and tidy your farm looks. Yeah it’s just a video but man you’re doing awesome. Pasture nice and green good growth to start the spring and summer. The chickens look good healthy and the difference from brooder to pasture is nothing but noticeable
Thanks for the kind words. It always feels like a work in progress
@@KCFarms I’m sure my prayer is to be in the game by end of the year. There’s many farms I would and would not visit as an inspiration and you’re on the right track man.. keep being great !! Would love to plan a trip and lend a hand
Beautiful Kune Kunes
Good morning. What size hen gear box fits your mobile units? Thanks in advance. 😊
Good morning. We use the 54 in box for our tractors. Our tractors are 6ft wide so the 72 might squeeze in but we built the tractors before the nest boxes so we didn’t plan to put the 72 in box in.
@@KCFarms I haven’t built my Chicken tractors yet. If you we’re starting over again, would you go with the 72 inch version? 🤔
@chrispaulus4491 probably not just because the 54 is big enough for the amount of birds I would put in there
@@KCFarms Thank you! That was the answer I was looking for. I’ve been a long time viewer/subscriber and I am modeling my farm after yours to the extent I can.
