I have been flying PIA since 1972. I have seen the entire journey of PIA. I sincerely hope that PIA becomes a commercial airliner, hungry to compete in global marketplace. PIA has such a huge potential for growth, and for that, it needs to transform in to a customer centric airline. If PIA can manage its way to growth, and get rid of losses and avoid redundancy, and turn into an AGILE organization, then I see a great future for an airline that was instrumental in forming Emirates Airlines.

The most polite, kind, generous, and sympathetic airline staff in the entire world. They were kind to me from the beginning when I checked in at Karachi Airport, during my flight to Dhaka. I have flown 7 times between Karachi and Dhaka; each time I experienced the same positive care from PIA who even tolerated the uneducated and outright rude Bangladeshi passengers who are just nasty. Keep up the good work, PIA!

I hope PIA gets back on their feet. The airline itself has been lacking in quality lately (being rated a 2 star airline) but the staff are very hospitable and proud to represent their airline and country.

I had a flight to Toronto with first leg from Multan to Karachi in PIA and the remaining with Emirates. When I arrived on the airport, there was a long line of passengers on the gate. I took the chance to go to wash room. Returned within 3 minutes and when I presented myself at the boarding counter, they told me that their ATR plane is already full. They said there are 72 seats and we already have 73 passengers on board with someone also sitting on the jumper seat (don't know what is a jumper seat). I told them that I may loose my 2000 dollars Emirates ticket if I don't make it to Karachi and the fact that I have booked PIA flight a month ago. Nobody helped instead they said I should talk to my ticketing agent.
I have flown on many international routes/airlines in past 12 years but never had a chance to fly with PIA. At my first attempt they proved to me that I am not great enough to fly with them. Wonderful PIA, wonderful Pakistan. Keep going, Shabash!

Over booking is an accepted practice. It happens so often here in US and Canada and u see angry PAX at counters. I always pay extra to select the seat and checkin online 24 hours prior. Unfortunately this is not available for PIA, still living in the 80s, i guess.😢

This is a terrific documentary; hopefully PIA will get re-launch and new strategy. I read somewhere that about 35% of PIA's international passenger traffic was to/from Europe so the potential is there. PIA will longer term need to consider the replacement of the Boeing 777 by 2028 and hopefully PIA will acquire the 787 (or A350)

25:56 for an overstay, you gotta either pay the overstay fine or, the less expensive method, get a nicop issued. For a nicop you need to be a dual citizen of Pakistan. Nicop can be issued by nadra domestically or by Pakistan's mission overseas. Nicop will cost you about $200-300 and you will never need to get a visa again for Pakistan and therefore no overstay issue.

From ticketing to baggage claim, and everything in between is broken at PIA. PIA's direct flights are often more trouble than indirect flights of reputed airlines. PIA only makes sense if one is seeking adventure or someone else is paying for the ticket.

Airline kitchen can do with a revamp, poor lighting does not show the work Tops could do with a wipe, considering that cams have been permitted in kitchen. The Chef over rating the omelette requires retraining as a matter of urgency. Cross contaminating on Cam using the same egg fork in biryani when stirring glad he did change when tasting, but damage was done. Those prepped dishes need to be in a blast chiller and should only plate individually once all components ready. Not rocket science.

absolutely it's a big bullshit and just to show off they had such scandis that they shouldn't even fly. first scandal to have false licenses even pious experts and veterans what are we talking about the staff is the rudest and for this reason the European banned PIA for having pilots not with the license but also because their staff members made them do this I want to have new aircraft and well I can't because the price is high and the competition on the international market is very strong. my advice if I feel like PIA made like flydubai using only B737s they go from European to Arab emigrants and then all other destinations and as many airlines do it is not necessary to lose a new plane even second hand they are fine just take qualified pilots and not wads of money I have other things I know how aviation works especially in Pakistan so these videos only make you vomit now you have ruined your reputation
