It's not been released in many countries yet! I'd keep an eye on imdb.com for a release date globally, good luck!

I see! imdb.com states it was out May 2024, but I guess it just made that appearance during the Cannes Film Festival.

If you read Eduard Limonov's novel «It's Me, Eddie» (1976), of which the plot makes up about 66% of Kirill Serebrennikov's film, you might ask yourself: why did this film need Emmanuel Carrère? 😎

I will definitely read Limonov's biography. Carrère loves the attention as much as Eddie, that's my guess 🤭

@@Uncommon_Reader You misunderstood me. Read Limonov's books, not Carrère's. Limonov spent his whole life writing his own biography independently, book by book! That was his literary method: literature based on personal biography. Carrère, however, compiled his book from several of Limonov's novels. Carrère is derivative in this whole story.

@@alexeyevseev2694 that's what I meant, sorry. I should have written autobiography. I know Limonov himself wrote many books, and Carrère says in his book that he based what he wrote on Eduard's books.

@@alexeyevseev2694 I don't know if you had the patience to watch the whole video, but I do mention a couple of books from Limonov himself I want to read
