"SPEEDHOUSE IN THE DOG HOUSE"
When Speedhouse Racing agreed to partner with Roger Penske for a technical alliance, owner-driver David Schildhouse had no idea what he had signed his organization up for. By allying with Penske Racing they would begin sharing chassis, engines, and technical data immediately. As of the end of the Martinsville race, Nascar has just as swiftly stripped the #2 Speedhouse Miller Lite Dodge of wins, points, money, and dignity. Multiple race winning cars for the team have been taken to the Nascar Institute and have been deemed in violation of Nascar rules. This investigation was initiated by a private, unnamed party with ties to Aaron's Rent and Wood Brothers Racing.
Needless to say, the #2 team has a big hill to climb if they want to be #1 at season's end.
Speedhouse owner and driver of the #2 Miller Lite Dodge David Schildhouse had this to say in his team press conference after Friday's final practice session at California Speedway in Fontana, California:
"I thought it was odd that [Roger] never asked us about sharing a space or moving our operations to their campus." Schildhouse stated. "We started getting chassis without any identifcation numbers that looked like science projects, engines on pallets that had no dyno sheets, shocks with permanent marker markings. Cars were fast and the parts were free so it was a win-win for our team."
After an investigation performed by a third party accounting firm, Penske Racing's R&D spending decreased by 50% since partnering with Speedhouse Racing. While operating costs have remained similar to the last five seasons. The alleged conclusion is that Penske Racing has been utilizing Speedhouse Racing as a "skunkworks" R&D program since allying with Penske Racing. Speedhouse Racing has been used as an "offshore account" for R&D, testing, and development for equipment and personnel. This also highlights the uptick in performance that the #12 Alltel Dodge (Penske) team has experienced as of late.
This situation is similar to the infamous Penske-Ilmor Mercedes-Benz 500I engine used to power the PC-23 Penske IndyCar to the 1994 Indianapolis 500 victory with Al Unser Jr. The program was developed entirely in secret even within the Penske organization.
Speedhouse was stripped of multiple wins (not the Daytona 500), driver and owner points. Incidentally, Penske was not penalized, and remains in the hunt for the driver's and owner's championship.
Schildhouse had this to say regarding his thoughts about Nascar's heavy penalty and his now strained relationship with Roger Penske.
"Heck."
Heck indeed, the season is still young but is the hole too deep to win back-to-back titles? Only time will tell.

Either that or after Junior choked away the points lead last year, you had a side bet with him whether you could do it again so you spotted him 3-4 races (however many you simulated) before you went back to work to try to give him as much of a lead as possible.

So glad you’re finally back my dude! That sucks about what happened with the save file but with that being said, I guess that means Season 6 is on the way! At least I no longer have to Binge Watch the older Episodes anymore! Hope you re-unlock those paint schemes and gain back that automatic alliance with Newman as your teammate! I missed you so much!

I think what could have happened is that PCSX2 had some issues as they are in the midst of implementing Retroachievements functionality and have been on a craze of nightly builds.

Fun thing I remember doing when I play this game online was if you ran this track with full assists, it acted like a plate track. Super challenging to get the lead.

Your 3 wins minus the points you earned in the simulated races comes out to be about 335 points...if the latford system was in place today I could see it happening for a simple parts violation. Kind of on par with Brad K's 100 point penalty from this year.
