These are great if the low voltage wire is not too thick. I had to strip back the plastic tubing and just twist the copper wires. A bit of a task when you have a lot of lights to put in. I have used these on thinner low voltage wire and they work great.

Where did you purchase the lights? I have the same ones except they have a clear lens not frosted. I bought mine about ten years ago from Bunnings but the bases are starting to rust and the will no longer stand upright. They are still working unbelievably, which is why I’d like to purchase them again. I also like the style of them and the price range. I paid like $60 for my 6 set back in 2009.

How do you wire the last light in the run of lights ? Which holes in the last connector do the two cables from the last light go into?

Hi Da Man, you finish the run of lights by not running an extra wire out of the last connector.
Each connector has an input (from the transformer) a split (to the light) and an output (to the next light in the series).
To wire the last light in a run, you wire the input, and the split, and leave the output empty.
      Hope that helps!

I am in the U.S. I think it is a great idea. Are they available in the US or do you ship to the US?

Our purchase manager tells me that we buy them on Ebay from the US, he suggests you try a garden center or hardware store that sells garden sprinklers.

Why didn't they make it as one connector?? Not sure what the point is of having 2. One connector, All the incoming on one side, all the outgoing on the other side (or over and under to keep it the same width as the single connector). Was there a reason/benefit for doing it as 2 ??

Thanks for your comment, a great question! I'ts about versatility and ease of use - we trialed it as one connector and it made the whole process a bit harder. In cases where you have an odd series of connections, having a dual clip would result in wastage.

Hi Daniel, if you're in Australia we can send them to you, or if you're elswhere I'd recommend a garden center or hardware store that sells garden sprinklers.

Only recommended for solid core cable.
Using multi core can result in failure.
