they're probably referring to space heaters and such. I'm guessing that some people might try to use this portable fan to blow the heat from a space heater in their direction, only to have it melt or have a battery explode.
This is a great fan. However, two of the legs broke on the tripod. I finding it impossible to order a replacement tripod. Do you know the type of metal for the legs
Unfortunately I don’t know what the metal is called, or what type of tripod legs they are. From looking at them, it looks like a solid piece of flexible metal. I’ve never seen anything like it before. I don’t know if it would work for your situation, but if you have any JB Weld lying around, I believe this can bond metals together. Otherwise, it’s probably cheaper to replace the entire fan than to replace the tripod unfortunately.
the instructions say to keep away from heat. Any thoughts on what temperature they are referring to? I like using it outside on hot days 80's
