i really admire idol group leaders.. it's hard to put up a "leader image" among members who work as hard as you.. whoever picked Sunggyu did an amazing job for Infinite.. he is just an amazing leader.. and Infinite's hard work made me love them even more.. Infinite fighting! ♥
I find it really impressive that when they practice, Sunggyu has the ability to keep an eye on the other members and make corrections for them, even though he's dancing too. It's really easy when you're dancing to only focus on what you're doing, so for him to be able to be so good at spotting things within the group is very admirable.
When they were practicing, it was kinda awkward. But then the subject just changed because of Woohyun singing the "Butterfly". Ahha, I love how Woohyun was trying to get them to laugh.
Coming back to this video after watching another group's dance practice. I notice the other group's voice is a but shaky while dancing. Of course it's tiring but then I remembered it's possible to have a stable voice. Infinite is proof. One thing that differs between them in their dance practices is the fact that the other group does not sing as much at the same time as they dance. If that group were to sing at the same time in their practices, their live voice would be much more stable. But still, I give props. Dancing and singing at the same time can kill you.
after watching this part made me realize that Infinite is working harder each day for themselves, their family, their friends, and also us..Inspirits..they always work hard without complaining, quitting, and discouraging themselves..they took this path together and walk with each other..something that Infinite made me realize that the path they take, they can never quit..

I came here after watching Weekly Idol having a thought in my mind that Sunggyu isn't that much respected as a leader among his members (since they always bully him) but after seeing this, I realized that it's all for the sake of variety. I can see that the members really respected him as a leader and think highly of him. I really love this side of Sunggyu. Leader Gyu. ❤👍
You have to understand leader in this situation. He's the leader. He's going his job and taking responsibility. In fact, I was amazed that he actually looked at other member's performance, not just himself. Like during the dance practice, he looked at the other members to correct them than correcting himself. He rather has himself getting scolded or criticize by other people than getting his members scolded. LeaderGyu truly amazing!
wow.. sunggyu, reminded me of g-dragon scolding big bang before their debut... man, it must be really hard to be a leader, and so hard to be an idol. have to practice so much just to get it perfect. thts one of the things i like most about INFINITE. their choreography and how they're all in sync. man, it takes alot for all of them to be "perfect" and coordinated... im glad, woohyun lifted the tense atmosphere and got sunggyu to laugh/smile after sunggyu scolded L and sungjong :)) WooGyu ♥
Good episode, you really can see how great they are, working hard and being a group, plus Sunggyu is a great leader, watching his members practise, advice them and asking for free moments.
Everytime i listen to "be mine" it reminds me of the hard work infinite went through and it makes me admire them even more, infinite has worked hard to be where they're at right now and i'm really proud of them and of being an inspirit. I hope they have much more success around the world, im thankfull i found infinite first and started listening to them because they are really humble and a true inspiration ❤️
im prtty sure Teuk Oppa was also just as strict as Gyu when they 1st started off.. rmbr how my maknae Kyu had a hard time coz of him... but iv never had the oppty to see it! but without that SJ or INFINITE wldv never reached where they are now! its thanx to leaders like them that they strive to achieve so much! Teuk Oppa is forever one of the ppl i respect the most!

Sunggyu's harsh when he needs to be but this is what is keeping them so synchronised, its up to the leader to notice even the smallest details and change them in order for them to work as a unit. And Woohyun is always there to make sure leader Gyu isnt being to harsh and that the team keeps their spirits up. Infinite wouldn't be Infinite if even one member were missing.
i think that even though Leader Gyu is strict and scary sometimes, he only wants the best for infinite and after all the strict moments he's all happy again :) that's why i love infinite :)
i always cry seeing groups prepared for their comeback. they look so exhausted yet they have to keep practicing. and i feel sorry for sunggyu too. it can't be easy having to scold the members knowing they are all so tired, and being tired himself too! no matter what kpop groups deserve some respect.
Yes sunggyu show your leadership! I was really impressed at his leadership skills and how he was able to pinpoint the other members mistakes. Its the leaders job to put the members in their place and i was glad to see sunggyu doing his job so good.
Most people say leaders have no real purpose in the idol groups but I think this shows how big their role is at least backstage, during practice and preparation for promotions, because as the eldest they need to set an example and make sure the younger ones understand what needs to be done, even if they have to be harsh about it. @POKEpichuable I'm not sure but I think they have to stay in that position and sing along to the song. The position requires a lot of strength/stamina so if they practice singing while doing it, they'll be able to sing while doing the dance. Hope that makes sense! :)
Seeing Sungkyu like that, I respect him even more. It takes guts for the leader to be able to take control and observe the others. He's not just responsible for himself but also for the performance for the other members. I always see Sungkyu joking and smiling and this is the first time I've seen him serious and leader-like. My respect for him has risen by a lot~

Leeteuk doesn't need to be strict any more because he was way stricter than Sunggyu in the beginning, so his members have developed the discipline by now. In the start he pushed them (and himself) really hard because they were only supposed to be a project band with changing members, but he wanted all the original SuJu members to stay together so he made sure they were all doing their best. Now that's a good leader (although Sunggyu is also good). And now he can relax a little.

@iVickaayx3 I don't think they've gotten rest since beginning their Nothing's Over promotions... They're still the most synchronized group out there. I've got plenty of admiration for them.
@rrato123 because most of the money goes to the company and the outfits, sets, props, guest apperances, and etc. for mvs are pretty expensive. That and also (especially if you're in a big group) you have to split the money with your other members.
i didn't know they had so much schedule.. esp sungyeol. now, i'd rather them not release a full album and just take some time to relax and rest. they're totally tired. it pains inspirits to watch them like them, but i'm so glad all their hard work brought them trophies. They deserve much more than what they have now.

I think most kpop groups that we can name have very strong leaders. They are put as the leader for a reason right? Its just that we don't see what they put in behind the scenes to give us what we see. Even for the weird leaders like Onew and JoKwon, you can see their importance only through the eyes of their members. All in all, SungGyu's charisma as a leader is impressive. Let's continue supporting INFINITE so that their hardworks pay off. =)
I feel really bad for them. Following broadcast schedule while practicing for comeback while doing solo activities, that's a lot of work for a couple of young adults. The more I watch this, the more I like them. I really wish that Infinite could win the Rookie award, but sadly they can't be nominated anymore.
i think seungkyu needed to be a bit firm since he's much older compared to others and the rest are still very young. they really need the leader to guide them very well. just like mblaq and few others.

throughout my years of my knowing k-pop... i've realized that there are two types of leaders... one is like sunggyu-oppa... a leader who is harsh in a loving way towards his members for their group's perfection(not that anyone is perfect)... and the other one is like Leeteuk-oppa... a leader who is very loving,letting his dongsaengs do whatever they wanted to do,letting them bully him all the time, very gentle but at the same time is respected,love and doted by his dongsaengs... why? @iVickaayx3 I don't think they've gotten rest since beginning their Nothing's Over promotions... They're still the most synchronized group out there. I've got plenty of admiration for them.
@rrato123 because most of the money goes to the company and the outfits, sets, props, guest apperances, and etc. for mvs are pretty expensive. That and also (especially if you're in a big group) you have to split the money with your other members.
i didn't know they had so much schedule.. esp sungyeol. now, i'd rather them not release a full album and just take some time to relax and rest. they're totally tired. it pains inspirits to watch them like them, but i'm so glad all their hard work brought them trophies. They deserve much more than what they have now.

At first, I thought Sunggyu was being too harsh. Yes, he's being strict on them. But then I realized, if he wasn't like that, Infinite wouldn't be as good as they are right now. He's just being a true leader. If he just slacked off, then what would Infinite be?

I think most kpop groups that we can name have very strong leaders. They are put as the leader for a reason right? Its just that we don't see what they put in behind the scenes to give us what we see.
Even for the weird leaders like Onew and JoKwon, you can see their importance only through the eyes of their members.
All in all, SungGyu's charisma as a leader is impressive.
Let's continue supporting INFINITE so that their hardworks pay off.

I feel really bad for them. Following broadcast schedule while practicing for comeback while doing solo activities, that's a lot of work for a couple of young adults.
The more I watch this, the more I like them. I really wish that Infinite could win the Rookie award, but sadly they can't be nominated anymore.

i think seungkyu needed to be a bit firm since he's much older compared to others and the rest are still very young. they really need the leader to guide them very well. just like mblaq and few others.

@CreepyRuxi yeah thats what im saying, but like ive watch their paradise performances, and theyre my favorite group out there. i love them but they need more rest + i just find that they started to get less synchronized. but thats my opinion, so whatever.
throughout my years of my knowing k-pop... i've realized that there are two types of leaders...
one is like sunggyu-oppa... a leader who is harsh in a loving way towards his members for their group's perfection(not that anyone is perfect)...
and the other one is like Leeteuk-oppa... a leader who is very loving,letting his dongsaengs do whatever they wanted to do,letting them bully him all the time, very gentle but at the same time is respected,love and doted by his dongsaengs... why? (con)
