- Ilana Glazer and Michelle Buteau have terrific chemistry as lifelong best friends in the raunchy comedy "Babes." Glazer co-wrote the script and stars as a free-spirited New Yorker who gets pregnant from a one-night stand and decides to keep the baby; Buteau plays a married mother of two who's not sure her pal is ready for this massive responsibility. Pamela Adlon ("Better Things") makes her feature directing debut; Josh Rabinowitz co-wrote the script. Co-starring Stephan James, Hasan Minhaj and John Carroll Lynch. In theaters now.

I'm gonna try to go see this, good low to mid budget comedies and dramas need to get more theatrical releases again.
Regal’s first movie mystery Monday I actually enjoyed. I had a lot of fun with this but it’s significantly better off as a Netflix and chill film instead of a theater worthy watch
If the name of the next Breakfast All Day Livestream isn't "Ask Christy Anything About Fluids," what are we even doing here?
This might be more information than you need!
LMFAO 😂😂😂 the fluids discussion is for the patreon subscribers only! s/
😄
Got to see this early in an AMC mystery/unseen movie.
I should like this movie more. It has outrageous comedy, but also serious topics/drama. A movie that can offer both is right up my alley.
By the end of the movie, it was just an okay movie. There were some silly joke and some tender moments, but not enough or did not mesh well? Together Together is still the gold standard for witty dialogue, jokes and serious discussion moments.
So Broad City the movie?
RE fluids: He often should I change my antifreeze/coolant?
Christy is such a genius when it comes to segues, she should give a masterclass about it.
Ha, thank you! We aim to entertain.
Pam is also a great voice actress
Yes! She's Bobby Hill. Thanks for the reminder.
@@BreakfastAllDay That boy ain't right.
I was surprised by how much I liked this movie. The first 5 minutes is gut bustingly funny
They definitely find an inspired way into that mad-dash-to-the-hospital scene 😂
BABES vs BABY MAMA; who will win?
30 thousand by the end of the year! Let's go!
Thanks Leo!
Please review Evil Does Not Exist
We will! We loved Drive My Car. Thanks for asking.
@@BreakfastAllDay Great. Hope you'll do a spoiler review:)
Alonso missed the obvious pun that Pamela Adlon is a Facts of Lifer.
Yes Christy, you will really enjoy "Better Things".
Good to know, thank you!
Aim in decimal terms: 1,000 subs -- 10,000 subs -- 100,000 subs -- 1,000,000 subs. You got this!
Thanks so much! We're getting close.
Broad City; the Movie. Except BC was good.
I wanna go see this because I like everybody involved, but I just find pregnancy humor inherently unfunny because it tends to be so over the top. A lot of the scenes in the trailer give off “what to expect when you’re expecting” vibes and I’m just not into it. Does the rest of the film make up for it?
Oh it’s better than that. Give it a shot.
How much were you paid for this review? The movie was awful and NOT funny at all.
Hold on, surely.. Abortion or morning after pill... even a option or mentioned in the film?
For sure mentioned! As we say, the Glazer character *chooses* to have the baby.
Disappointing with that talent, cute but not funny or emotional or memorable.
They have pretty great chemistry though, no?
