@@sanctummusic639 Have to agree with you on this one. While I don't think all skaters are at their best in their early 20's,I do think that's when they have the best ratio off agility and tricks. The way their bodies are able to just twist and turn from the age off 17 to 24 is something you can't get after it no matter how much you work out and take care off yourself.

No, as far as I remember (aka Wikipedia told me), the 2000 Mastership‘s winner was this man right here: Eric Koston. 2nd Ryan Johnson, 3rd McCrank. As for vert: Burnquist, PLG, Glifberg. Bastien took it in 2001.
But the first years of sls, first 2 years with runs, but for sure the pre run era was insane in my opinion. But after that it became sadly pretty boring@@LuthersArchiv

But after following SLS a couple of years with huge excitment i got kind of numb seeing the 100th 360 Noseblunt Flip out somehow and see myself much more Impressed by a good filmed and executed kickflip on a rough Spot. As great as this competition was for skateboarding i feel like the Art and soul behind this Sport is getting to far behind in SLS. As crazy as it is, but when i see ribeiro doing a tre crook flip out in a gaped kinkrail, i feel like "meh, whatever". Do you know what i mean?

its with everything nowadays. people push stuff to the limits and the kids just get younger while raising the bar. sometimes i feel like things are over the top but when you see how far skateboarding has come. its still awesome, isnt it?
@hashbrix2991 Absolutely. And the kids are alright. Watching their creativity unfold is still mad fun. 9 year olds singlehandedly bringing back vert skateboarding, I genuinely love it. Not to mention the pace of development in women‘s skateboarding, which might just be the best thing to happen, ever. If you search hard enough, you‘ll always find something to be mad about, but overall, I really don‘t think there is a lot to complain about rn.
