I don't buy the apology because why not just say which drug you were using? And imagine being drunk as fuck trying to edit a 2 1/2 hour long video with sources and research? Either what he was saying was true, and he is issuing a fake apology as a victim what he was describing (less likely to me) or he just wanted to get back into the community, knowing that the video is out there still because once you upload something to the Internet, it may live forever He just wanted to get back into the community
He was obviously in a position where he could, on reflection, be gaslit into believing he was in the wrong. He was in a compromised state when he made his video, and with the negative reaction by the community, and probably a lot of embarassment after releasing his ideas to the public, he probably genuinely believed he was being irrational when making it. Sad stuff.
