Hi Piers! First of all thanks for putting my video on your site. And second that 50th anniversary reunion screams for a documentary! That group of people where there when Elvis sang "Can't help falling in love" as his last song ever. If I was a documentary maker I would be there to tape it on June 26, 2027, and have it broadcasted on August 16, 2027. I will reach out to Ian Mackay and David Taylor in the coming months, just to see if people have reported! Because I am curious if this item has helped them. Kind regards, Emiel
Emiel, great to see you again for another show. I’m reminded of how saddened poor Elvis was emotionally at going into the Army. The photo you showed at the start of your show is just so hard to see bc you can tell, the poor man is close to breaking down. He’s finding it so hard to smile. I recall hearing that there were times when he was overheard crying at night. It must have been so hard on him and others being away from home. Another great show Emiel. I really appreciate it very much. Rock on !
I agree Colin with what you wrote. But I think by the time he went into the army Elvis had noticed Gladys's poor condition. Maybe he actually knew deep in his heart that she was going to die soon. He lived in the same house with her and he saw her health deteriorate every day. I think he didn't care about being away from home, but rather it was a case of him not wanting to be far from his mother who he knew was not well. But like you say..., a sad situation. Regards, Emiel
🏆🎖️🏅🥇💕💕💕🎸📀💿📀👑💍💍💍🙋🏻♂️❤️❤️❤️
