The Slay On Cue series will see the worldwide reissue of the bands’ classic albums inoriginal editions including A Series Of Sneaks (1998), Girls Can Tell (2001), Kill The Moonlight (2002), Transference (2010) and a special release of Spoon’s debut album Telephono and the Soft Effects EP, available individually for the first time since their original release in 1996/1997. Gimme Fiction (2005) and GaGaGaGaGa (2007) will also be reissued in their original editions outside of the US and Canada.

Mark Smith Even more interestingly, lead singer of Franz Ferdinand Alex Kapranos was dating Eleanor Friedberger at the time, Britt's ex and leader singer of the absolutely amazing band The Fiery Furnaces.
"The words came kind of fast....I didn't know exactly what they meant but I liked them....they kind of felt good."
I feel like this applies to a lot of Spoon lyrics and part of the reason I love this band and Britt's writing.
