What are the small like mortars on the rear of the MG belt feed used for see there's 4 clipped in behind the cockpit in back? I can't find anything about them in references only outside armament
I know this is late in the game from when this was posted, but could the builder comment on his glue selection for parts glued to the clear fuselage parts? Did he use PVA type glue or something else? Thanks in advance.
A few years Later & I’m ready to build my clear SBD3, thanks for tip of clearance behind Engine, I’ll leave other side clear. Wish camera man panned Slower & really zoomed in on details, EG Engine. Nice to see Ensign Richard Best got a Gr8 notation in newest Midway movie.

Our next meeting is Wednesday, June 26, I ask him and get back to you.
Rob says he used Model Master enamel flats. The upper side was Navy Blue Grey (1942) and the lower was Medium Grey (1942)

Clear plastic fuselage parts look cheap to me.
