you probably dont give a shit but if you are bored like me atm then you can watch all the latest series on InstaFlixxer. Been streaming with my brother during the lockdown :)
+Chris Blankner hey sorry, i think you're right. i did a quick adjustment in my head earlier, regarding the capo, and yea, I think I miscounted, and it would be 7th fret for the capo, not 5th. I'm at work and haven't got a guitar handy, but I'll check later.
+Chris Blankner nope, they're playing in G as well. What I mean by play around a C major shape is, you'd have a capo on 5th fret and play a C major shape like you would without the capo. Because of the capo, the chord you'd be playing would actually be a G+, because its been shifted up 5 semitones with the capo.
He hits the bass note twice each time almost double time. Do you know why? He also uses a capo, but I'm not concerned with that, just the double bass note
ah didn't notice that. probably no reason beyond he likes how it sounds. Yep, this could be done with a capo and build around a C major shape instead of a G major shape as I've done here. if you were to play this song with a friend, it would sound cool to have 2 guitars playing it both ways
You ramble with no direction, maybe record play it back and see whether you follow you because I'm lost! If I have to watch you 100 times I'd rather just work it out for myself.
thanks mate! more people should watch u too!

@Steven Callen Definitely, been watching on instaflixxer for years myself =)
Awesome! Big TY, Dave!!!
I suggest that maybe play the song full through, then explain how to play it
Great cover:)
Thanks. I thought playing a c shape at the 5th fret is a F chord. Thanks for getting back to me.

Is that what they are doing? In the key of C? One song I think would be great to learn is my morning jacket's Song called Golden.

Hey can you do lead on by Phillip Phillips
maaaan, you save my life :')
The original song is played in open-D tuning and with 2 guitars... so this is not quite right.

So... Why not go do that?
