Y'know, back in the days, this would be that one flash game that we all play in armorgames, miniclip or newgrounds.

This is all very insightful and all. But did you know? If you don't Rock and Stone, you aint' comin' home?
Mac, no, you don't blow up the core, you fix the core. If you watch the intro, it says that new planets or just inhabited problems have problems with gravity, instability or mutations so you fix the core so it can support life:)

No you start the core which explodes correcting the magnetic field saving the planet, this is why even if the core is destroyed by Aliens at the required depth you still complete the mission but lose any saved resources :p TBH who cares either way.
Did you hear they announced Kingdom Come Deliverence 2 for this Year release date Mack?

Yep and the same issue that you really need the radar, or better yet the range thingie, otherwise you'll have a much harder time.

Hmm kinda like DRG, but no Coop. So it's rather like Dome Keeper I'd say. Bummer, this could be fun in Coop.
This seems more like a copy of the old "Motherload" game.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was made by the same people because it looks pretty identical.
I loved that game
Played some over the weekend. It's fun but the loop gets boring after a while, especially since progression is based on finding a specific ore type and if you don't get the radar, you're pretty much blindly drilling around hoping you'll get lucky.
This game reminds me of the days of Metal Slug ... very similar graphic style 😌 love the videos Mac! 👌

Just tried it and... Yeah, okay, it's alright. But the game loop is too repetitive... There are better games in this genre that are more fun IMO.
You should try Below The Stone. Great fun game. Game Description: Below the Stone is an extraction roguelike about dwarves on the quest for the deepest depths. I think I might actually like this more than dome keeper, not having to mine every mineral myself is nice and having more structures/turrets to build gives a bit more variety to gameplay. Looking forward to the launch.

Just went to the Steam page and clicked the button to try the play test and it was instantaneous. Then install it and I've been playing it. That was 3 hours ago. This game is really addictive!
