its done well here, by taking tiny cuts of the original and transforming it into its own song.......... not just putting your shitty lyrics over the actual song KANYE i mean hypothetical musician
We're only seeing the sampling itself (and it wasn't even done properly in this video, there's more to it than this) but there's a whole world of production and mixing Daft Punk did on top of the samples. It's deceptive, One More Time sounds super simple but its production and mixing are surprisingly complex
@@personM4N Ah, I see. There are so many different ways you can approach it these days :) technology is amazing. Daft Punk would have done this almost entirely with hardware back in the day
Whoa duuudde! I'm truly impressed.. Takes a pretty skilled and talented ear to pick off bits and pieces of one song that was then strung together in order to create another one.
Thats what sampling is. Its not as hard as it seems, you will hear sounds that just stand out to you and you just gel them together so they make sense.
and people say sampling is dumb... as a person who has attempted sampling and produces music for fun, I can confirm its harder than you think (at least this type of cut-sampling, some songs, particularly rap, have much simpler sampling)
BRO PLEASE DO MORE STUFF LIKE THIS. This music breakdown was awesome as hell am I’m like mind blown . Hope it’s possible to make other breakdowns of other music like this.
I do appreciate how little One more time takes from the source of its sample. Kanye's I wonder is also a good song but I mean the sample is the whole song. I don't wanna say most of the work was done for him but it kinda was.
The I wonder sample is just vocals and a piano tho, Kanye had to add a lot of things like drums, a lot of different synths and leads, bass, strings and brass and other stuff. He also has to write some verses on top I for one think it’s genius
I was looking for the Pulp Fiction Daft Punk and it lead me to this short. I had no idea it was a sample from another song. Then again, hardly any song is an original
@@Migger_29 I honestly can't answer that.. I do think it's important that the original producer of the sound gets some credit.. both are amazing works of art.
Daft don't simply copy paste samples like others do, they are still very creative while sampling and make it something completely unique and of its own.
I love this, but my literal ass thinks that "were" should be "was", as Daft Punk is the name they performed as. It's 1 group of 2 people. You're referencing the group, not the people.

@P0G_G0BL1N yup
The circle is complete
Why do they have different last names?
mind blowing how “simple” this is.. genius tho!
Yeah it seems simple 😂 it’s not
Don't praise him look uptracklib they made the video.
By today technology. Yeah, by the time that was made... Probably a little more complex than it seems.
@@wolshak112it seems complex anyway
i’m listening to the original track over & over and still can’t hear the sample chops😂🤯 this is a crazy sample
What’s weird is seeing how simple and easy this is convinces me even more that I could never have come up with this

You betta do that One More Time. It's time to celebrate! Oh yeah, alright- Don't stop the dancing
Sampling is one of my favourite things to do in music
yo disco was fucking lit bro

Fr, almost sounds like one sample
Less talented when you rip someone else’s video off

You're not a human.
Chaka Khan created the original music Daft Punk can't create only reproduce a Frankenstein collage of pieces of music created by actual artists

Wow
They were doing future funk way before it was cool!!
If only they paid royalties to the eddie for using this sample
How much royalties? Since they only used a portion, and they didn’t keep it in its original state,
@@Migger_29 I honestly can't answer that.. I do think it's important that the original producer of the sound gets some credit.. both are amazing works of art.
They paid it to the song publisher. They couldnt find Eddie so they paid it to his publisher.

De la de back in time de Pittbull hay una tonadita que podría salir una super rola. Así como está ojalá algun DJ o productor la creé.

How sampling should be done right. Not blatantly robbing the main melody of a song.
The actual production was even more in-depth than what this video shows
and then on more time got turned into circo loco
