The fact that you made it so symmetrical is impressive beyond belief. You’re the kinda artist I strive to be, someone who can make art out of anything!!
why did I discover this so late ugh. I think it feels great to be an artist right now. Much respect for the time you put in, transforming a random stone into art, simply amazing
I love the way the whole thing subtly bends band the fin and tail sweep to one side. It gives it all movement. I tend to be focused on symmetry, it's interesting to see how a bit of unbalance creates movement.
Awesome, thank you very much! It is very rewarding to hear that. It was already there, I just chipped away the negative space. 😁 I agree asymmetry can be useful. 👍
Thank you James!!! 😁 as you already know since I have told you before, but I am going to say it again, I really appreciate your kind words and support!!! 👍😁
I did. One time many years ago, an art supply store was going out of business and had an auction. Lots of great deals that set me back (debt) for quite some time. 😁
Hello!! I have a huge question and for this... I need help!! I bought a dremel sometime ago... And its been good... But at the sametime annoying... Which is frustrating cause I can not enjoy the process... I do not know what I am doing wrong or if its the tool its self... Reason why I am taking the liberty to ask a few questions. Is there a reason why a bit will loosen up and move from the position it was needed? (Even when I tighten it up hard?) This is the main one. I use water to prevent the bits to over heat (that is good right?) I need help to identify the right bit for the right rock type... Cause I would see videos and for me I have the right bit... But then when Ive tried them out... It does not work. 😥 I would appreciate the input... Thank you.
Thank you very much! When I looked at the raw stone, I saw the eye of the fish (first) staring at me. Then the rest of the fish revealed itself through the process. It's just many many years of experience in the visual arts. Thanks for watching and commenting. 👍

It’s cool but you should add a hose coming out the mouth so it can squirt water
With a motion sensor so when you walk past, it squirts you! 😁
