Really loved your work but as a viewer my productive suggestion would be make sure camera angles are much better. There were couple of shots with bad light. Camera movement was little bit fast. Overall it was a pretty nice video and would watch your videos in future as well.
first video of yours ive seen, good job guys. subscribed an thumbs up. lol the way the dad treats a cx5, but his profession so meh going to happen, just hope he didnt use it for work again before lease return. was wondering like 9-10 mins into the video- how long do you let the interior dry out? want to clean my cars an maybe my dads truck etc. wasnt sure its like 4 hours or day, depending on temps of course.
Thank you! So, we always try to do the seats before anything else, that way they have enough time to dry & if it’s warm where you are, it shouldn’t take longer than maybe 2 hours to dry. If it’s a bit colder, you can always turn the car on & blast the heat or leave the windows cracked for a few hours to air out. we’d say just make sure to start with the driver’s seat
The seat didn't even turn white when u drill brushed u should have did 16:7 soap and hot water is what cleans the seat well u know that part but mainly the soap hot water just helps alot
Great job! Just as a FYI; to remove some scratches and repair any faded plastic trim, try using either a heat gun or gas torch. I’ve had good success with this method. Carefully heat the surface of the plastic to bring up the natural oils in the plastic. It will bring back the original color. You can also get rid of some of the scratches. Just keep the heat gun moving. Don’t stop too long in one place to avoid damage. Keep the videos coming!!!
Thank you! We’ll definitely give that a try the next time we get a car in that condition. I’ll throw it in a video and you guys can see how well it works
Nicely done! Really pleasing to see u made an effort to put a smile on ur dads face man. Blessed! Keep up the good work. Watching all the way here from London
I enjoyed this video so much. Detailing my mom and dads vehicle has to be one of the most rewarding feelings ever. Then you see their reaction and you realize why you did it. Great job! 👌🏻
For the white scratches from tools on your plastics. The white marked are plastic threads that come off. Use a heat gun from a distance and blow hot air toward the scratch. Dab the scratch with your finger, the plastic threads get heated and as you dab they fuse back into the plastic. Be careful of not using too much heat, then you may see finger print get embedded in the plastic or the texturing in the plastic go flat.
Awesome job! I do both my parents vehicles for mothers day and fathers day and they seem to love it more than gifts. A tip when you are extracting the carpets use your compressed air and blow around the edges you can not get with the extractor like around the gas petal.
Your Dad is a hard-working guy! And since he raised a pretty good kid, he must have been a great Dad, too! So no complaints from me about the inside of his car! Go, Dad!
Lovin' the channel guys. I've seen other videos were people have used a heat gun to remove scratches from interior plastics. Maybe one to try next time... 👍
At first I thought roast the dad well. However it is dirty due to his profession that helped raise you. Besides, why not lease a car when your son is a detailer!? Great job on the car and great job dad for raising a wonderful son! (mom has too)
I know why "daddy" doesn't clean his car. Him wanting his pro detailer of a son to always have a dirty car to use for improving his detailing technique. A nice thing to do to show his love and support for you 😜
Lol smart to detail the shit out of it before returning it, gotta hand it to you lol. Came out great. I’m a tech I’ve seen way worse than that so don’t roast him too hard 😂
A little tip I've seen on another detailing channel, use magic erasers on the scratched plastics as it helps to soften the look of them, then dress as normal and you should have a better finish :) Never seen on of those windscreen reach tools, looks pretty handy!
Okay! I’ll see if I can get one and try it before he turns the car in. & as for the window reach tool, it’s seriously amazing. It saves time, it evenly cleans the windshield (and back window if the car has one that’s hard to reach) and it makes cleaning them easier on your arms & back haha
Ive used a heat gun to remove some interior scratches. If you do that be happy with the quick results cause if you keep going over it even if you dont get it to hot it will start to miss shape the texture of the plastic. So heat it and keep moving
where can i get the white interior applicator pad that you used on this video ? I cant find them anywhere , you guys have the blue applicator pads linked in the description /:
Great video! I just stumbled across your channel today. I can’t bust on your Dad since he used it as a work car. It’s cool to see pros using Griot’s interior cleaner. I love that stuff and have been using it for years.
Thank you, Todd! We were using professional grade detailing products but just switched to more consumer grade and you’re totally right. Griott’s is a very high quality product. We love it
Nice video guys. I have a 2019 CX-5 GT spec that I’ve been experimenting on with different products. I hope to start adding content to my YT channel over the winter. Do you have a steamer you could have used on the dash and console. So easy with that. Keep up the great work.
WD Detailing I saw it at the end. I’m just wondering why you didn’t blast the centre console with to remove the junk that was not only stuck to it, but also in all the tiny crevasses. Not to worry. It cleaned up beautifully in the end (and I even used an adverb correctly!!)
If you go to our video description, we have a link for a pack of 32 for under $20! You can also look around on amazon for ones you think would best suit your needs
If you ever need to remove scratches from those tools, use a heat gun. Takes a bit of practice so get some plastic from a junk yard or a car that you not to worried about. You’d easily get that looking 50% better.
Coach Karin Lots of dust from carrying grouts ,thinset, other various materials to pay the bills. No blow for me! Maybe a little 35 yrs ago... but hey it was the 80’s!
You can take a heat gun to the scratches and should melt away but you got to move the heat gun and move it back and forth like you are painting it and it will take those scratches away. But go to a junk yard and buy a plastic off of a car that is scratched and practice melted those scratches off for best results.
That’s so funny. You can tell your dad puts his foot on that ledge when he drives. I do that with my Mazda3. Mine has a hole in the carpet now from doing that the last few years I’ve owned it.
A car detailer is basically a neat freak with ocd...i can't even drive someone else's car unless clean the inside a little and take it to the car wash🤣🤣
Your dad either needs a tocaoma with a possible cap. Or a 4runner. (legit America's most reliable vehicle). Plus it's 4x4 system is VERY good in all sorts of terrain. And the fact it's an actual SUV, and not a crossover. It can take some abuse. In fact, they're meant to get dirty. Lol Can tow with it. Off-road, overland, cargo area is very spacious. Etc

Works especially well on black outside trim pieces. I look forward to the video! Happy Easter!
One thing for sure , u both put ur heart and soul in this business, one can see the result. Outstanding job guys , keep up the good work.
That’s the kindest theft ever😁
I wish I can do what you did. Cherish him every day and tell him you love him everyday.
I try to as often as I can
Got to love dad, those scratches would drive me nuts lol, I think he needs a truck with a shell on it, you’re a great son, nice job 👍😁
Thank you, Dave! My dad actually just bought a brand new truck recently so he’s turning that Mazda back in :)
I nearly cried and cursed out of nowhere after seeing those scratches. 🥺
That's the way to give back a part of what your parents gave you almost all their life, great from you guys !
Nicely done! Really pleasing to see u made an effort to put a smile on ur dads face man. Blessed! Keep up the good work. Watching all the way here from London
For scratched plastics, depending on how deep they are, use a heat gun. Just wave it back and forth until the scratch disappears.
Your reaction to your dad reacting was priceless! 👌👌😂 Great job once again!
I enjoyed this video so much. Detailing my mom and dads vehicle has to be one of the most rewarding feelings ever. Then you see their reaction and you realize why you did it. Great job! 👌🏻

Awe!!! That was so nice to help dad out and clean his dirty SUV. Great work guys. Keep the videos coming!!! ❤️❤️❤️
i am sure ur dad is happy to have a son like you and proud of u......good job buddy
No price detail! I love my dad and i also do as much as I can when we are together. Don’t stop!
You and M.A.D. Detailing are only real detailers and providing essence of the word detail. Keep it up!
This just show you how good of dad raising his kids l am really proud of you both . Now you need to clean your mom car too.
You guys did an outstanding job. I wish you and your business every success in the world. Beautiful work!

I always LOVE when the cupholders get cleaned up perfectly, because that's the part which grosses me out in most people's cars
I love watching the extraction, the same thing should be our challenges in life which shud be extracted by simple effort. Good job.
Your Dad is a hard-working guy! And since he raised a pretty good kid, he must have been a great Dad, too! So no complaints from me about the inside of his car! Go, Dad!
Donna M. Schmid thx! Cleveland winters and long work hours Not much opportunity to be outside cleaning your work vehicle!! Only I ride in it. Thx;))
Awwwww i miss my dad, hes in Guatemala with my mom in isolation.
Also i can't bring myself to roast him.
Hoping this all clears up and you get to see your dad soon! Wishing the best for you and them!

Those Mazda carpets seem more difficult to vacuum than normal are the fibers different?
Your dad at the dealership like

Hi, which vacuum were you using? And what were you using to clean the carpet? Brush on the drill.
Thank You
Our dads would get along
Maybe it's a dad thing that they don't know how to keep crap clean 😂
Finally a roast!! Lol 👍
Don’t know my dad is sorta a neat freak that hordes paper bags and glass jars. It might be a surgeon thing idk

Hi guys. Always enjoy your videos. When you guys use the drill head brushes are they soft bristled? And what setting do you use on the drill? Thanks.
Where can I buy that window cleaning tool and what brand is it?
Right on dude, that says a lot!!
Where do you guys get so many different microfiber towels from?

Ah you guys rock! Love your down to earth personas! Love it! 😌
is the very last coat leave a greasy finish?
Really enjoyed your video. Lucky dad!
A magic eraser sometimes does pretty good with scratches on plastic. It dosent take them all the way out but helps
What steamer do you use
Great Job👏🏻
Finally you made your dad happy. 😊😊
Hats off
Thank you!
happy dad , happy dude.
I think you should also apply steamer to the speaker grills
I'm so satisfied with this kind of video ..I'm in my early twenties I know I'm getting old .. you guys are amazing . SUBSCRIBED and LIKED
lol all the snow/hail getting into the car right after it got cleaned 😭

i am no detailer but is it possible to remove scratches in plastic with heat?
That's a cool thing to do.
Awful lot of white stuff 🤔 lol! Super awesome 😎 as shop vac turns cement mixer.

For sure!
I didn’t see a dirty car. I saw a dad’s sweat and evidence of trying to provide for his family. Great work guys.
Teslra X the truth you speak!!!
How about using compressed air to blow thru the crevices
What a terrific transition from and abused car.

how do you take car seats out i dont know
You can take a heat gun to the scratches and should melt away but you got to move the heat gun and move it back and forth like you are painting it and it will take those scratches away. But go to a junk yard and buy a plastic off of a car that is scratched and practice melted those scratches off for best results.
I thought only my dad is like this with his own car 😅
How long was the lease, 10 years?
hahah that made me laugh

Great job guys, great son for cleaning pops car

Fyi....you can remove most of the scratches on the plastic with a heat gun. It works great for that.
Take a heat gun or a hair dryer it will get rid of some of those scratches on the plastic good job though
I love all the customers reaction. Thats what I look for..KEEP IT UP!😁💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼🇺🇸✌🏻
