- Sandip Ghosh Arrest: Former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, Sandip Ghosh, arrived at the CBI office in Kolkata, West Bengal, following a Calcutta High Court directive to cooperate with the investigation. Sandip Ghosh clarified to the media that he had not been arrested. The CBI has questioned around 30 individuals, including doctors, postgraduate students, and staff members, as part of the ongoing inquiry.
