- Emma Corrin is interviewed for Deadpool & Wolverine, the MCU's big new comic book movie blockbuster. The film stars Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin and Rob Delaney. The film’s writer and director is Shawn Levy, producers Kevin Feige, Wendy Jacobson and Louis D’Esposito. The movie is written by Ryan Reynolds & Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick & Zeb Wells & Shawn Levy.

Plot: Featuring the return of the TVA (Time Variance Authority), a powerful organization that can travel through the multiverse and is central to the plot of the ‘Loki’ series. In the film, the TVA will have a crucial role to play, as the irreverent superhero Deadpool positions himself as Marvel’s saviour figure, likening himself to Jesus.
The movie opens in UK Cinemas on July 25 and will be available in IMAX®, 3D, Dolby Cinema® and premium screens everywhere.

I do agree with you on movies that are clearly inspired by a comic book, but as this according to the trailer seems more of a mash of crazy ideas and variants, why bother with the source. It is like in the Exile comics, where they usually went wild with character interpretations in any way they wanted, remembering Professor X especially.
@@Ordnungskampf Agreed, Emma says they still looked into the general story outlines, powers, vibe, etc. to guide their portrayal of Cassandra. I haven’t gotten around to reading New X-men yet (definitely will eventually, Grant Morrison is probably my favorite comic writer, in fact I’m currently 2/3 through their Doom Patrol run and loving it) but the people I know who have said Emma seems on point so far from what we’ve been shown in trailers.
And man, can Marvel give us an Exiles omnibus already? I only ever owned the first trade since back then I was in college and had far less spending money, but it was great, and I watched some of Atop the Fourth Wall’s review of it (stopped at a point so not to spoil everything) and what I saw looked so fun.
