So it was the drummer Simon who is Shawn "Clown" Crahan's son (which I was strugglin' to remember with my pea sized brain) 🙌 Doesn't Griffin remind you of young Corey with the vocals? 🔥
I've heard several people say "They need to find themselves. They sound too much like early slipknot." and well, I totally disagree. I'm with you. Griffin Taylor wanted to make a metal band, and he did. He is also Corey Taylor's flesh and blood, so he is going to sound a lot like Corey Taylor. When I was in high school, I had a friend who I always had trouble discerning whether or not I got him or his dad on the phone. One time, I got his dad and I was like "Wow, you sound just like your son on the phone!" and he was like "Well he's my kid, what the hell do you expect?" And that's how I look at this. I don't think they need to change anything. Griffin shouldn't have to disguise his voice to make a good band. I am glad you see that too!
I absolutely love this band definitely do more reaction, they're heavier and singer vocals occasionally sounds like he's dad but still has he's own style 🖤🤘
Saw them last night open for orbit culture, fit for an autopsy, and in flames. They were really good for the short time they were out there. Great show all around.
