Been there many times but now I'm finally off of the drink, i had seizures and the withdrawals are nothing but pure hell so i had to have medication to come off of alcohol... you know it's bad when all the specialists tell you NOT to stop drinking until you receive medical help as it can lead to seizures and even death
Going cold turkey on alcohol is not only dangerous and can kill you completely immobilised for 5 days I’ve done it a few times it’s very hard to go through
I'm a piss-head myself, So, I'm a lager drinker, mainly. I think I had my first one when I was about 14. Hofmeister. You remember? The bear with the porkpie hat.
When Phil first came to the square in 1990 he was the nicest one always getting hot headed Grant out of scrapes and warning him after he slapped Sharon. When he became an alcoholic it really did change his personality even when he beat the booze he wasn’t the same it turned him nasty and violent. It’s ironic that he threatened Grant in 1993 for hitting Sharon and he did the exact same thing in 2003
Consequences of certain actions actually tipped him over the edge. We know that his dad was a violent alcoholic and who knows, perhaps Phil might have turned out that way in the end because of that reason. However, in spite of everything, he did commit arson and an innocent bystander was killed. Imagine Frank, being away for a couple of years and yet coming back to the square and he was a nervous wreck. Phil, by the same token had to live in the square itself and see the burnt out shell of the car lot that he burnt out. This on his conscience was the one thing that put Phil over the edge.
Good music then, all the oasis and blur stuff on in the background. Miss the 90s.

We had three different flavours of crisps!
alcohol withdrawl is nasty. And Phil would be having it worse than I did, as he was drinking bottles of spirits.

@@hitchensrazor5450 And Grant , Ben and Kathy leaving practically the same day.
She slapped him first, he was giving her a piece of equality😂
@@dogsbollocksgenius9480 If you resort to slapping a women you ain’t a proper man it’s that simple
more ironic that he harked on at Billy for hitting Jamie yet he beat him to a bloody pulp in the early 2000s when he was at his worst.
