Because of this video I found gojira and fell in love with their music, I have the same baritone in red, keep up the great work, you rock bro!
Thank you very much! That's awesome that i introduce you to the great band Gojira! Cheers
You do baritone metal better than any of the other guitarists I've watched on RUclips. I think you've tapped into something that others missed
Thanks man! Cheers
Maybe because he uses less gain making it more tight sounding. But he also plays very accurate
You should check out Andrew Baena then bro. Waaaay better.
And he ACTUALLY play baritone riffs, not drop C# crap with a fckn 27 inch neck...
Came for the guitar, stayed for the riffs
The HB Amarok has to be one of the sickest guitars out there for the price. If I had an extra 100 dollars to drop I definitely would have gotten an Amarok over my Schecter Omen 6, lol. If I could have both though? Ugh, dream come true.
bought this Beauty because of THIS clip - looks and plays like a Dream 💘 Thank You!
Awesome! Thank you too for watching! Enjoy your new guitar.
Wow, those sounds ! What an instrument the Bariton Guitar is. I never thought I'd listen to such musical sounds.
I don't know why, but there is something deeply amusing about that sweater paired with that music :D Great playing!
Thanks!
Wow you took me on a bit of a journey with these riffs. The first two caught my attention and I stayed until the end. Rock on
Thanks for watching! 🤘
It’s on my list of guitars I want!
quality is terrible tho
The inclusion of Machine Head got me to watch and like the video
Nice playing. Great choice of songs. Cool jumper, too.
Thanks pal, always up for some new music!
Nice video! Only the most difficult riff in the history of music was missing: Tactical Nuke by The Acacia Strain
Amazing, great song choices
Thanks!
Muito bom!
Grande som! Para além de muito bem tocado, muito bem misturado! Adorei o teu setup de iluminação, muito pro.
Alguns dos meus riffs favoritos aí na ponta dos teus dedos 😁🤘
Keep rocking!
Obrigado mais uma vez! 😉 Abraço!
Sensational stuff Claudio.
Thanks a lot!
Glad to see you're back! :)
Thanks! I'm always here ;)
The tone is so heavy, nice work my man \m/
Thanks a lot!
I noticed you included Silvera, which is in D, pretty high for baritone standards. I'll be getting an Amarok as my 2nd ever guitar as an exclusively metal musician soon, but I'm wondering if I should get the 6 string, 7 string, BT, etc.
1) From your experience, does it feel "necessary" to have a baritone after some point? If so, where is that point? B standard? A standard?
2) Does a baritone feel a lot different to a normal scale length? I play on a 25.5 superstrat, and I'm wondering how big the difference is when you go up to a 27. Is it significantly harder to grab some chords, or do a power chord on the first fret, etc?
3) How "limiting" is a baritone as a main guitar? How easy is it to play tunings like D, Eb or even E on a baritone? Borderline impossible? How high can you go before the tension becomes unbearable or even dangerous to the instrument?
Basically I'm just asking if a baritone as a main instrument is a silly choice, and how hard the transition might be, or how limiting it might be
Anyways, great video, thanks a lot in advance!
I don’t know if this helps but when I switched from a 25.5 to a 27 inch 7 string, I never really noticed a difference in how long it feels, I can play most chords just as easy on it as a 25.5
@@slamdmkv That's wonderful, thank you for the insight mate!
Where do you usually tune?
@@KonStafylides Hi, it's maybe late, but...
First point, in the band we play in drop B, and we play now on baritone guitar becaus the intonation is more accurate on a 27" or 28" scale length. You can use strings gauge like 11/56 or 12/60 with this configuration.
If you go lower, you have to increase the size of the strings.
Second point, yes a baritone feels different than a regular guitar, you have to try it.
Last point, this is not an instrument that you can use in any situation, but just like an other guitar. If you have a regular guitar with 10/46 strings, it's difficult to play in B standard with this configuration.
If you are interested in baritone and lower stuff, check The Bunn channel 😉
And if you're curious, check our band page 🤘
I don't really feel the difference between 25.5 and 26.5/27 inch scale. But having a baritone as your main guitar could be limiting, it all depends on what music you wanna play. If you wanna play for example Breaking Benjamin stuff or Slipknot stuff, it's good, I have my baritone tuned to drop A# and its awesome. But if you wanna play in standard tuning too, it might be better to buy a 7 string, it takes time to adjust to the +1 string, but you have more versatility. I have my 7 string tuned to drop A. 25.5 scale can still handle drop B though (I have one in that tuning and its not bad, but the string gauge must be really thic).
Heavy Duty Tone and Playing Man! Subbbed
Thank you very much! Cheers
Wow! Good playlist
8 string guitars are also baritone guitars its an even further step which keeps me rocking everyday good vid yo
Thanks for watching!
Sounds awesome! Have you checked intonation above 12th fret? I bought an Amarok-7 with 25.5", but returning it because it was very hard to intonate low B, it was sharp by 35 cents at first. Now it is 5-15 cents sharp. With spring removal it is in tune, but saddle is maxed. With Drop A it is even worse, obviously. So I'm looking into buying Amarok-6 and Amarok-BT instead one 7string :)
Sorry to hear about your Amarok 7. The intonation in this one is pretty good
@@CSantosMusic Thank you :) Will try my luck with 6 and BT then!
@@LandsOfDespair I have a Harley Benton sc custom ii (single cut with 24.75 scale) and I'm still surprised that the guitar hits the notes after 12 frets even in drop g lol
Loved this video man i have this guitar with 13 to 72's on it but was pretty worried about tuning to anything higher than B standard. Did tuning higher on it give you any problems?
Thanks! The highest tunning i used on it was D standard and i just had to adjust the truss rod a bit.
Absolutely awesome!!
Thank you!
Relação qualidade/preço fantástico, versátil e o low end é brutal. Bom video! \m/
Obrigado! É de facto uma excelente guitarra para o preço. A nova série de guitarras da Harley Benton está muito boa.
Your like a riff machine!! Amazing playing!!! Am considering diving into getting a few Harley Bentons.
Thank you very much!
nice playing bro!!!
Thanks man!
I'll never understand how you get your finger tapping on Silvera to sound so loud
Ya no la venden en ese color en Thomann ahora solo hay de 7 cuerdas
How do you like these EMG Pickups? Do they feel like passive ones?
The pickups are nice. They have high output
Awesome tones. What did you use to drop the tunings? Or did you actually detune the guitar
Thanks! I really tuned the guitar to whatever tuning i used
really good, nice riffs...i bought the same guitar today ;) ....you played this all in drop D...right.?
Thanks! I used different tunings from B standard to D standard
@@CSantosMusic I play mostly in standard d , drop c. Should i buy the baritone or the normal 25.5 scale? What gauge did you use for the standard d? ( if i go for the baritone version i have to keep an eye for the neck tension.. bigger gauge might make problems right?)
@@leonleon8396 I think you'll be fine with the 25.5 scale version for that tunings. Just use like 11's or 12's gauge strings. In this video i used 013's
Youre so good sir
Thank you very much!
Awesome!! What amp or software you have used?
Thanks! In this one i used the STL Tones AmpHub plugin
Is played with B tuning on a baryton guitar ?
Thats really neat, well played, but you dont need baritone for that
It’s upsetting you didn’t play any Amon Amarth riffs in this video. They literally play in baritone tuning most of the time, occasionally tuning to drop A for songs like The Hero and Guardians of Asgaard.
What's your signal chain? I dig the tone and drive. I haven't been able to find that with my bari
The signal chain is: Guitar into my Audient Sono interface to Logic Pro and i used the STL Tones AmpHub Plugin
@@CSantosMusic if you can, can you share your settings in STL? I have considered getting it.
Tunning for this guitar?
That TONE tho
Adorei. Kse for the win ❤️
Obrigado pas! KSE também é o meu favorito a seguir ao dos Gojira 😉. Abraço!
@@CSantosMusic acho seriamente que tens de pensar num top de killswitch😜😷
É uma boa ideia.. haja dedos 🙂
Excuse me, How do i get or make the backtracks ? thanl you for all, thanl you
I make all my backing tracks for the videos.
how are those harley benton guitars?
They're very nice! I still have it
How will this beauty handle drop G
The riff from Periphery i played was on drop G# so i think it will handle it nicely
What string gauge are you using for Duality?
I'm using the 013's that came in the guitar
What tuning your using..?
I used different tunings from B standard to D standard
What is "natural" tuning for this guitar?
That's B-E-A-D-F#-B
OH BRUH DIDNT EXPECT PERIPHERY, FUCK YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Скажите пожалуйста какой строй и какой калибр струн?
I used multiple tunings in this video from drop C to B standard. The strings are 013's
@@CSantosMusic thanks 🙏
@@CSantosMusic it's guitar baritone?
Yes this is a baritone guitar
Somehow you tuned a baritone to Eb standard
1) Harley Benton Amarok-BT BKNT.
2) Harley Benton Amarok-6 BKNT.
SORRY WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THESE 2 GUITARS THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP
The 1) it's a baritone guitar like the one in the video. It has a longer scale and uses different tuning. The 2) it's a regular "standard" guitar
Emg retro activ 70 ?
Yes that's the pickups
You play it perfectly
Can i have the song at 4:47 ?
COME WITH ME
IF YOU WANT TO RIFF
Fab stuff 😃💉👍😷
Thanks!
Songs be playing in original tone?
Yes they are in the original tone
@@CSantosMusic It turns out I can tune the baritone to standard or to d?
@@V4L4A4D4 yeah no problem
@@CSantosMusic cool
Tuning?
I used different tunings from B standard to D standard
Why do you need a baratone for gojira or really anything higher than like C standard that makes no sense
You really don't need a baritone for that. But you can play it right?
Can you tell me string guage?
These are 013's
Absurdo
damn
No way dude... D Standard on a baritone hurts the balance of the universe. You can't be serious
Why is called baritone?
Its a longer scale length than a standard guitar. Almost in between a guitar and bass.
Bigass riot tone
Is this just me or is Hand of blood by bullet for my valentine, completely stolen of dream theater??
Nice! Except that's not a baritone guitar, it's just de-tuned.
That's actually a Baritone guitar
The scale length on a baritone is way longer, 30” vs 25” on a standard guitar.
Too frequent switching from views. Really annoying
Lol none of those bands in the thumbnail are met bands they're all rock lol
Machine Head, Gojira and Dream Theater aren’t metal?
@@Kruegernator123 sorry meant to say machine head WAS, they're not metal for a long time now it's quite sad
Oh, but they are.
You seem confused, my guy.
