THANKS FOR WATCHING!!!
Awesome. I switched to Platinum Carbon because of Peter as well. Love what you've done here. Really nicely composed and executed.
I've tried to switch to something else a couple times now but I keep coming back to it. Good stuff!
Very cool. Def see the Peter Draws influence, but it's clearly your own art. ITA about being influenced by a variety of artists and using their techniques, approaches, etc. to develop your own art. This popped up while I was listening to RUclips while I'm painting. Had to stop and watch. 😎
Thank you! Yeah, Peter Draws was my inspiration to start a YT channel. Welcome aboard!
Wooooooooooooooah what goes on in your brain to produce such a stunning yet weird piece. I like it...I LIKE IT A LOT. I had to subscribe and give you the BIG THUMBS UP, I'd be an idiot not to.
Favorite piece thus far
Thanks!!!
Platinum Carbon Black ink is totally waterproof if it is dried. It is also archival, including UV resistant. Your artwork with it will last even if hung in a sunny room.
I like your drawing. No wonder you connected with Peter Draws’ style.
Thanks!
@@theartoframshackle : by the way, you might enjoy experimenting with another waterproof, archival ink, Noodler’s Lexington Grey. It’s a lovely, well-behaved neutral gray with a wide range of shading. I find it more harmonious with overlain watercolor washes than a black. It’s excellent both for writing and for drawing and can range from almost full black to nearly transparent depending on the amount of ink and dilution. You can also load it into a waterbrush. I have also loaded dilutions into waterbrushes and that seemed to work, though I don’t know whether that would be stable longer term. I have had good experiences with making dilutions in multiwelled dishes on the spot, carrying distilled water (probably tap water would be fine) and a little dropper bottle of ink with me and painting.
Good morning. outstanding video-work-all the best.buddy~
Thanks! You too!
❤ thanks for sharing your wonderful talent and it's so amazing to see you draw
Dude, your work is so cool! Keep up the excellent work! 🤘🏻
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Love your artwork..and ordered my first TWSBI. And also shared with my partner an additional one as a Christmas idea. 😂. Cannot wait for it to arrive. Love watching your videos..and your voice is really calming. Perfect for ASMR..dunno if anyone has mentioned that to you. Planning on a binge watch of your channel! Thanks for the work you put into them ❤
Super cool drawing!!
Thank you so much 😀
what a voice
great vid, man. beautiful drawing. i too use my fountain pens for drawing. it's the best time, ever. am i right? I love a million different inks but for waterproof, archival stuff, i go for DeAtrimentis archival black. That stuff does not move.
Im also a fan of Peter D. For years now, he's inspired and entertained us. What a gem!
Glad i found your channel. Im subscribing. Looking forward to more of this great content.
Cheers,
dEAN
Awesome, I'll check that ink out! Thanks for the sub!!
Great Video...Nice pen work
Thanks!!
Thanks for the video. I also ordered the same pen and also going to use it with Platinum Carbon ink, so your video is quite on time for me. Awesome work!
Thank you! The Eco is still my favorite art pen so far!
This is very cool.
I have a signed Boris X-Men card from one of the Comic book Conventions we went to when you were young Next time I see you you can have it I didn't realize you were such a fan of his
Awesome, I'd love that!
Could you use warecolour paper, say 380gsm, with your pen. Thanks for the video.
I want to get some hot press and do some watercolor/pen drawings soon!
👍
🤙
Any issues with cracking with the eco?
So far so good! I have a pretty light touch though
May I ask your paper brand, weight?
That's one of my favorite papers, the Canson XL Bristol Smooth. I believe it's 100lb.
@@theartoframshackle thank you kindly. I'm an artist and I use fountain pens/rapidographs for the past 40 yrs. I use Arches Hot Press 140lb, and Fabriano Tiepolo (my favorite) I watercolor and ink on top.
Seahawks fan? I seen the tattoo.
Haha, yeah, I'm from Seattle originally!
Nice dude. Spokane here.
