@@chrish4439 You do better! I have never seen a close-up of a volcano erupting in my life before; helicopters use massive zoom lenses and stay well back. This is just bloody amazing, and as already asked, how was the drone not destroyed. Or maybe a few were?
@@digitalclips I agree absolutely. It's easy to say "weakk footage". Me either didn't saw close footage like this ever befor. As an FPV Pilot I can say that it's pretty hard to film things while the temperatures are insane high. I filmed a burning vehicle pretty close and wasn't moving the drone fast enough to cool it and it got a bit burned. I can't imagine how hard would it be to film during this conditions. It must be so hot around an activ Volcano, so you can forget to focus on the footage and just get some nice shots done. By the way, this footage is absolutely beautiful. So close to a spitting Vulcano and even through the Lava. On top the drone got hit by a pice of Lava. Just enjoy shots like that and have fun or do at least good constructive criticism

What a great video. From the opening with the waves crashing on the rocks to the volcano with the lava spraying into the air, you did an amazing job of flying. I have to say that I am suprised you did not lose one of your drones. It had to be close with all that lava flying in the air and the heat. I have watched twice. Congrats for a very entertaining video.

I could just imagine what David Johnston (the USGS scientist that died in the 1980 eruption of Mt. St. Helens) would think of these amazing images of an erupting volcano.
Now imagine these drones were available in 1998 when Peter Jackson shot his LOTR movies. I mean he literally invented these kind of shots, only in miniatures.

Joshua, just amazing footage and flying! I've not gotten into FPV drones yet but do fly a Mavic Mini 2 here in Alaska with some success. Have been flying for about a year now. Check out my 'Drone' playlist. Nothing as impressive as your FPV shots but there's some good stuff there. Kept finding myself going 'wow', 'whoa', etc., watching this video!

Man, these are absolutely amazing shots! Were all the volcano shots done within the same time frame? Like did you decide to come back every time you knicked some lava to check the props, battery, etc, or did you just send it and keep it out there the whole time?

Honestly found this kinda weak. All he did was spin around the vent the same way again and again. It honestly wasn't very good footage at all....
