Describing the hook at the end of the radical symbol does exactly what I thought, I have been doing it as well since I noticed yours a while back. I saw a comment, in a previous video, asking you about that. I started to answer them, but I wasn't qualified to do so. Thanks for this very important explanation, to all of us.
@@simpleman283 Is his channel the same as the Math & Science website? Because the videos on the website are just brief intros and u can't watch them in sequence. How can I watch the lessons in full and in sequence? Thanx
@@opendiscussion1519 I think it is different. On this video you will see a place to subscribe. That is to the right of the words "math and science". Click on those words "math and science". When the page comes up, click on "videos". To the right of each row is an arrow you can click on to see more hidden videos. You can also click on "playlist" instead of videos. He does have a lot of introductory videos, but not all of them are. You can learn a lot for free, but his course is really for real study. Last time I checked it was like $20 per month. I think it is well worth the money & as soon as I can, I'll be doing it, but for now I'm just happy to get some of the basics for free. Good luck.
Square root is just the inverse of square:sqrt(x) = x^(1/2), or even as the side of a square with the area of x Thinking of roots with powers is much better and more general. Especially when you get into complex calculations, doing arithmetic operations with powers it is so much easier to understand and calculate than radical operations.
This video is awesome, I feel like this kind of essential info should be taught to kids before using something in actual problems. As a linguistic university student with barely any knowledge of algebra and geometry your videos explain and assist in understanding concepts much easier than the teachers that were in my school which actually made me to lose interest in math and any other subsequent math involved subject altogether. Thank you
Ty so much 4 ur massively important contributions 2 d human race. Ur chan & khan academy r easily d best 2 chans on YT rite now. U provide essential, fundamental, foundational, edu vids which r free online, which is in all honesty d most important undertaking that needs 2 happen at our stage of society. Theres no amount of $ that I could donate that would equal my thnx 2 u sir (if I had any $ 2 give...). Also, Id luv 2 join in on ur organization or make vids like this myself 1 day, however, I cant rite now, but if I ever get any $ or time that I can devote 2 this sort of thing, then rest assured Ill b putting out vids like this myself or donating 2 either u or khan academy (btw, imo u should merge w khan academy 2 make an even better organization, but thats of course up 2 u). Also, u should be getting more kudos than u currently r. I mean our current society is so backwards its horrible! They reward & respect hollywood celebs, then real heroes like u dont get d kudos u deserve. Edu is basically the foundation 4 all modern tech conveniences of our world & has helped us 2 live longer better lives & yet many people feel like its just optional. Also, on that topic, u should go deeper into CH & BIO 4 future vids, which can aid in the foundational edu 4 ppl in those areas & then help 2 further things like up & coming biotech (bionics, synthetics, genetics, better pharmaceuticals, better bio scanning machines, etc). Other key up & coming areas r AIs & robots, so I guess that would then b ME, EE, & CS 4 d foundations in2 that. Btw, I wrote this in optimized speech (which is also very important 4 our society), I dont mean 2 b offensive!
Simple - Pay attention : A square root is a number which when squared (multiplied by itself) results in another number for which its square root is the first number mentioned here. Any questions ?

Can we call the square of a number as a two dimensional quantity as it represents an area?
May I ask what (8-4-1) in the title means?
