    sir, my question, Is spin quantum number is derived from this explanation?
    and sir how many degrees of freedom for electron in hydrogen atom?
    Answer is "4" ( principal quantum number, orbital Q.N, magnetic Q.N, or spin Q.N) OR "3"(without spin quantum number, all quantum number are include)
    i am confused in this question, kindly help me in this.

      Spin quantum number can not be derived through Schrodinger wave equation and it was derived later through spectroscopy.
